This quilt was made with Bloom and Bliss fabric from RIley Blake and is ready to be sent. It features a color palette which includes shades of blue, pink, red, orange, and green; perfect for that new little girl in your life. It is feminine and pretty and would make a beautiful accent piece for the nursery or to adorn the back of a chair. The choice is yours. It measures approximately 36 x 42 which makes it the perfect size for a crib or a little cover up. Can also be used as a playmat and would fit easily into a diaper bag. The backing is blue chevron; BEAUTIFUL and the binding is yellow. This quilt was machine-pieced and machine quilted in my home studio in Hershey, PA where you can smell chocolate every day. It was professionally quilted with cream thread using a random meander pattern on my long arm quilting machine. Stitches are even, tight, and dense which makes it very high quality lifetime quilt. The quilting really adds to the beauty of this quilt. I used a French binding technique to finish the quilt which means it is double folded with mitered edges stitched to the front and hand sewn to the back. A traditional double-fold coordinating binding around the edges ensures this quilt will stand the test of time! Once it was constructed it was washed -- so it has the desired puckering look of a quilt. Please wash on gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat.This quilt has been washed on delicate cycle to give it the desirable puckering look while also softening the fabric. The batting used was Warm N Natural 100% cotton. To care for this quilt, machine wash on the delicate cycle, and tumble dry on low heat.
