This 3D printing filament refill kit comes with a total of 400 linear feet of 1.75 mm diameter PLA material. We offer 20 unique colors in our kit which include 3 glow in the dark colors and 1 transparent color. The 20 pieces come vacuum packed in a conveniently sized sealed box. Make sure to keep the filament sealed well as it does absorb moisture from the air! Why is PLA better than ABS? - PLA burns smoothly unlike ABS which can do damage to your 3D pen or printer. - PLA melts at a lower temperature than ABS, which puts less pressure on your pen or printer and causes less blockage. (PLA printing temperature range is 190-220 C while ABS is 230-250 C). - A heated bed is not mandatory for PLA printing, but it is for ABS printing. However if you want better results you can use a heated bed at 50-70 C for PLA.
