Worth it!
The media could not be loaded. Love the kit! I was on the fence about it initially, but I'm so glad I went ahead and purchased it. This is my first experience with an e-skateboard and it's a game changer. I briefly owned a OneWheel, but I was always worried about nosediving. I also rarely brought it with me because it was very heavy, and I was worried about such a high-dollar item being stolen. I feel that this kit is the best of both worlds. I installed it on my 28" LandYachtz Dinghy and the process was super easy. It's still relatively light compared to the OneWheel (I find it easiest to carry it from the front trucks), and it's a blast to ride. I'm a casual rider weighing around 145 lbs and I feel that it provides plenty of power. The regenerative braking also makes the skateboard usable going downhill without losing control. I live in a somewhat hilly downtown area and have had no problem making it uphill, although it is a bit slower to do so when the battery is low. I can't speak to the long term battery life as I've only had the kit for a few weeks, but I know that will probably depend on individual charging and usage habits. The packaging is nice, and it comes with a skateboard tool to help with installation. However I'd recommend using a basic wrench when installing the trucks, as it can be hard to get the correct angle with the included tool. You will also need a power drill to install the extra screw for the battery pack. The kit only came with one riser pad, which I installed on the front. I kept my old, thinner pad on the rear of the board. I'm not sure why only one pad was included, and I couldn't find anything about it in the manual. I was worried initially that the powered wheel was a bit off-balance, but it hasn't been an issue. This kit has made my skateboard so much more usable, and I find myself wanting to ride all the time now. I also like that the kit can be used on basically any board. It's a great value, especially at the discounted price that was offered when I purchased!

Worth the buy. So worth it.
The media could not be loaded. Pros: super easy to install. If you regularly clean your bearings and trucks then this job is super easy. Swap the trucks as it's mounted under the board and that's it. It does raises the ride height by a few inches but is just as sturdy even at top speeds. {pro tip} JUST DO NOT HAVE THE BUSHING TOO LOOSE IF YOU CANT HANDLE TOP SPEED RIDING!! The kit can quickly swap to any other board and still be satisfied. 100+ eBoards for the price of one, GENIUS!!!!!Cons: it's only bottom mounted; cannot configure for drop through decks (unless you cut through the mounting plate.. but don't do that).Likes: ITS PUSH TO START.. KICK AND THE BOARD TURNS ON. It's so light and makes my board feel brand new. It handles so well. The speed selection is right at your fingers going from sport to cruise. Nice sleek black look.Suggestions for Version 2:-allow for drop through boards decks-have the hub be DETACHABLE to swap between single and dual hub motors-don't have compartment made of plastic-make battery compartment sleekerI'LL BE BACK WITH MORE PICTURES ON EACH OF MY BOARDS!!

My pros and cons!
Pros: it's nice, well built, easy to use and install, perfect for beginners, fat wheels which is a plus for high speeds, bang for your buckCons: the provided hardware screws weren't long enough for the back parts of the battery, I had to use other screws from another purchase to make it work. Breaks works but is a hit or miss on how strong the breaking is. Noticed a power output decrease during my usage (check below for detailed information). And power delivery is weirdImportant note: (one of my big questions for electric motors; "can you still kick with an electric motor when it dies?")I couldn't find this answers anywhere on the internet, so here I am being the goat for this question. But you can kick it :)Once you go electric, kicking is a lot harder to do and would not recommend, why? A lot of resistance due to the motor being there. Is it safe for the motor? I don't think so personally speaking.Personal input: so the battery requires me to drill a hole in the middle of my board which I understand why, personally I didn't want to do that to maintain my board structural integrity, and in case I revert back to full leg day (probably never cause it's so much fun) or when I decide to upgrade. It does sag a little bit from doing that but it's okay I can still get over bumps with ease and lots of clearance. I noticed that the motor isn't as strong when I first got it, I'm about 5 charges in and I noticed a significant decrease in power output at 100% battery from then to now, note: I'm only 120lbs. I get about 6-7 miles of range and it only takes an hour and a half to fully charge it from dead battery. Note you'll notice where the battery life is on how fast your going, when it drops to around let's say 5-10% the power output starts to drop. I did expected it to be duel motor but it's single motor, but for being a single motor, my god it's powerful. Breaking, it's so messy, yes it works but it's a hit or miss, I've been trying to figure out how to do a more solid break vs it slowly slowing down. This is just my personal experience, like when I'm riding and I'm trying to stop quicker due to emergency it feels like "a worn break pad" at times it works and I'm confident and other times I'm like "wtf break pls work." Maybe it has to do with; when I break on the remote? Idk. I've been testing it for a while now, level 4 sometimes feels like level 3 on a full charge. Sometimes it doesn't want to go full speed on the level I have it set on, like I'll have the trigger going all the way up, wait for it to max out, let go of the trigger and then I get the full speed on that level and at times it feels like it's slightly struggling. But seriously for me the breaks could use an upgrade/update.I'm personally gonna upgrade cause I do want a bigger battery for the range and speed, don't get me wrong level 4 is pretty fast for a beginner rider and the range is perfect to have fun in or do some small runs (which i do to a local Kroger) :)

Fun, powerful, kit, perfect for DIY e-boards!
The media could not be loaded. Great DIY kit with tons of torque! I fit the kit onto a 20$ penny board making the kit pretty dang affordable. The board goes very fast, with adjustable speed settings for when my friends try and aren’t used to all that speed. Charges very quick and last a long distance. Better than advertised!
