It has no way of powering it included in the package.
This was fairly easy to build without instructions but it needs extra parts to complete it to make a working dice. Also it was poorly packed so all the pins were squished flat.

For £3.91 a good soldering practice piece
I bought two of these as a way of teaching my kids to solder, I'm writing this after the first one was completed.Arrived in a small plastic bag of bits crammed together, some of the all the chip and carrier legs were bent as there was no protection whatsoever. Fortunately all bent back straight with a bit of patience. In hindsight this kit is perhaps a bit of a challenge for a complete beginner. Very tightly spaced components and not a great quality PCB. But we got it built with no real issues and fired it up. You'll need a 5v supply with a small 2 pin JST connector. Not easy to find so you'll have to be prepared to make one. I modified a USB cable and used a USB charger.Unfortunately one of the LEDs was faulty but I had a spare, so it didn't stop us getting it working. Useful teaching exercise finding the fault. Came with a spare resistor and counter, though, so I guess up on the deal! It's not much use as a dice in practice as it takes a few seconds after the 'roll' button is pressed to start a roll sequence and another 5 or six seconds to finish. For the price, though, I think it's acceptable as a teaching project.

Poorly made
PCB very poorly made, not well built enough for a child’s project.

Very poor
No instructions, components damaged. Arrived in a clear plastic bag everything was jumbled. Finally put it together with my son and alas, does not work. No way of powering item without a specialist wire. Absolute junk
