I purchased these because I needed embroidery scissors. Something small to keep with my kit. Well this kit is beautiful and has everything I need in a small package. The antique look is a bonus. The scissors are sturdy and work very well. If you know someone who sees this would be a nice gift.

I would like to have given this a 5 star review but small container to hold the needle will not close. My daughter graciously said she'll use the container for other (smaller) needles. Otherwise, I'm glad I picked the rose gold. Beautiful color.

I have used these does for a few weeks now. They are great. The scissors are my favorite. The thimble is a good fit. Needle holder has changed my life. Highly recommend for any stitcher!

I bought this for aesthetic reasons more than practical ones, but I will be able to use most of it. The scissors are sharp, and will be great for using when I embroider. The needle case is perfect for all my embroidery needles to be in one spot. The lid fits snugly. I can use the awl to make holes for cosplay corset lacing. The only thing not useful is the thimble, which not surprisingly, doesn't fit. I didn't expect it to, I've never found a thimble that fits me. I don't know what the needle shaped thing is for. The description here says it's a threader, but I can't imagine how that would work. A darning needle, maybe? It's a nice decorative piece, though.I would recommend this set for anyone who likes pretty aesthetic things when they do any kind of needle work, or just wants a sewing-based decoration. The quality is pretty good for a replica piece.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter, who is an avid embroiderer and sewist, and she loves the set. She especially likes the little needle case, as it keeps her embroidery needles out of the reach of her cat (who had actually picked up a needle previously and had it in its mouth, which could have caused very serious injury had my daughter not seen it in time to get it out of the cat's mouth before the cat swallowed it!) She also mentioned that she likes the size and weight of the scissors, and the utility of all of the items. So the gift was a hit, and that makes me happy :-)

Absolutely pleasantly surprised with this item. The quality in the hand immediately. You can tell that it is the stainless steel. A magnet will prove it as well. The kit size is a bit larger than pictured, but absolutely perfect and serviceable. The lid on the needle holder is a little loose that's why only 4 out of 5 stars. Great product worth it

My husband purchased this for me for a Christmas gift, so I don’t actually have it yet. I am sure that I will get a lot of use out of it, as I am a quilter and hand stitcher and absolutely LOVE all and any sewing gadgets that come my way.

For me, this item is what it is. I don’t believe there’s really anything special about it. I’m simply not taken with it like so many others. Perhaps I’m fussy? It will serve its purpose until I find something else.
