Q: How does the coffee compare to a standard aeropress? This seems like a pretty and slightly more complicated that costs 10X. Is it worth it?

The design of it is one thing that in my opinion dominates the cost factor. That said, it is still a great product because it pretty much does the work for you instead of having to actually press on it. Also, its very well made so it will last you a good lifetime unless you throw it somewhere and break it (which is highly unlikely). It's like having a great coffee maker that looks good as well.

HI Ari! Thanks for your curiosity about Trinity! The Brew Chamber is moulded Tritan® copolyester, an extremely durable BPA-Free material, to meet the pressure and temperature demands of brewing great coffee.

Q: So, why make the brew chamber out of plastic?!? As one of the reviewers stated, Borosilicate (or Pyrex) would have been much more durable long term.

Thank you for reaching out, and so sorry for any confusion regarding the materials used. Since Trinity ONE brews in a high pressure environment using a weighted cylinder, borosilicate presents a high risk of breakage, and also cannot meet the manufacturing tolerance requirements of +/- 0.1mm required to create a reliable air tight seal. We have done a lot of research on this in our product development and we will also continue to explore possibilities to use borosilicate in the future if they arise.
