Mind you that I never had a problem with the power at all or that the TV is now working just fine without being connected to the lift
I purchased the lift in January. This lift is supposed to have a 5 year warranty. Eight months later, the motor suddenly stopped working. I emailed the manufacturer, and he wrote me back blaming the power surge as the cause of the problem and asking me if the power surge has any kind of warranty on the items that work from it. Mind you that I never had a problem with the power at all or that the TV is now working just fine without being connected to the lift. This company switched owners. My first lift and cabinet was purchased from them over 10 years ago. This first lift and motor lasted 10 years and was excellent. I believe the problem may be that they are using cheaper motors, and to top it off they're not standing behind the warranty. I am now working with Amazon to get a refund on this item. Thank God Amazon stands behind its customers. Will update on what happens next.

Awesome Lift- Best one out there!
Smooth and quiet! Installation of the lift and tv were super easy. Works great in my cabinet! Wish I had one for all of my TVs.
