Giant Inflatable 103" Golden Dragon Pool Float - Luxy Float

I loved this float. Sadly one of my companions burned a hole in it after 30mins on the river and a patch helped keep me going. It is really big. More like an epic inflatable raft that you lay down on. The pro is the wings keep you from getting too close to strangers on a really crowded river. The con is that you really have no control as you are completely out of the water. It is best for relaxing on calm waters or as I ended up doing -tying a rope through the handles/ around the dragon's neck and to a friend's kayak which worked really well until a herd of people going down river faster than me pushed it over and then I got tackled in the rope and dragged. I can tell also from that experience to make sure the water isn't shallow or full of large rocks and low hanging trees. The large float makes it harder to avoid those obstacles.

This inflatable is huge & added fun to my pool all season. It survived the season with no holes or leaks so it’s now deflated for use again next year. Highly recommend.

We had 2 adults on this float 200lbs each.This float had no problem with the weight !So much fun!!

Good quality. Minus one star for being rather pricey. We bought it as a party prop rather than as a floatation device. But my daughter loved it and it was a hit with all the kids.

The first dragon I received seemed defective (i.e. didn’t hold air.). I notified company and they immediately responded and shipped out a replacement. I love this dragon and use him purely as decoration b/c i am fearful of him tearing. In spite of not letting the kids touch it, the dragon’s tail seems to be leaking. This is not a big deal for me b/c it only affects a small part of the float. I have been buying pool floats for quite some time and feel that overall quality of them in general isn’t great and that they often don’t hold up well even when they aren’t used very often; however, I feel this is true of nearly any product these days. The dragon is impressive looking for sure. Don’t expect it to hold up well over time.

I was very disappointed in this. Its so pretty and was easy to inflate, however the first time we used it, it popped. The hole was too big to even patch it. We had some very excited children when they saw it because it was so big and so pretty, but, that didn't help with the use of it. I am hoping that we just got a defective one and that they all aren't like that.But, sadly, I cannot recommend this item. I feel like the looks are great, but, plastic is cheap.Save your money and your kid's disappointment.

Firstly, this thing is HUGE. Secondly, it is very thick and durable material. On our maiden voyage, we were T-boned by a runaway kayak at top river speed and while it knocked me off "Nessie" and flipped her, we both were unscathed. When paired with another mythical floating creature such as the unicorn in the 2nd picture, you will need to plan accordingly when transporting (I used bungee netting to keep these beasts safely corraled). Get ready for lots of smiles and laughs on your next float trip. As one wistful young child said, "Those floats are SICK!" . Highly recommend!

I buy this floatie once per year for the summer pool months. It's huge. Big enough to fit 3-5 kids on it, aged 12-15. Me and my family always have tons of fun using it. It's always a family favorite; especially when family comes to visit, as the kids are always jumping on it and pretending to play war games and various other forms of fun. It floats well in the water and can handle people jumping on it. I personally like to sit on it by myself when no one's around and either read a book or take a nap. My issue with it is that every summer, at the end, the seems that indent the seat seem to expand and make it so that when you blow up the floatie, it blows up into almost an ellipse which isn't suitable for sitting on. We end up having to pop it at the end of each summer and it ends up going in the trash. This brings into question the durability of said product, but it's actually very durable, especially given how much jumping, shoving, and flopping it can take. My older son belly flopped onto the floatie and it ended up being fine. Overall, the value for the money is somewhat overstated, but there's probably a reason my family keeps coming back to this floatie every summer. If you want a fun summer, I'd say go for it. If you want something that'll last you, I'd look elsewhere.
