Great customer service.
This product did not work for my needs but Lone Star Precision's customer service was great. The product itself is a great entry-level angle/cosine indicator and bubble level, which the price reflects. I recommend it if you are planning to shoot from a bench. If you shoot PRS matches, you will have to spend more money - buy once cry once. All in all, great features for a someone new to long range precision shooting. It is well machined and fully adjustable.

Works good and looks pro!
Great product and looks amazing. Been looking for a decent angle indicator for a while without spending a fortune. Once I saw Lone Star slapped it's name on this beast, I was sold. Only reason for 4 stars is the fact that it doesn't move as smoothly as I would like. Almost have to exaggerate your angle to get it moving. Also, the elevation screw for the level is a little cheesy, but it does work. It will get the job done, especially for the money and the reassuring name emblazoned proudly on the side.

i wouldn't bet a critical shot on it. Not precision.
Well now that I've had this thing for several months I'm writing this. This thing is anything but precision. I don't know what else to say. The angle indicator binds up no matter what I do, even after putting some moly dry lube powder on it, adjusting screws, even when it is plumb on the rifle... which if it is the rest of the mechanism is out of its adjustment range and your bubble level won't work without being loose and unreliable. The bubble level has this little spring ball that is supposed to act as tensioner and a little screw to hold it level when extended but the adjustment range is wrong on it and the only way to get it to hold tight in either the folded position or extended is to turn the whole thing cockeyed on my scope. If you're going to spend the money on this I'd suggest just forking over the extra $ for something from nigjtforce or vortex. I should have. If the one they send you is anything like this one it will not be sufficient for long range shooting, and especially not critical shots at game.

Needs some modification
Unable to see the bubble when there is not ample light behind you, I had to modify it by drilling a hole behind the level holder to be able to see it

Top Quality At A Reasonable Price
Been looking at Angle Cosine Indicators for awhile now but didn't think they were worth it at over a hundred dollar plus you still had to buy a mounting bracket for them. With this one you get the indicator, mounting bracket and a bubble level for less than eighty dollars. This is my second purchase from Lonestar Precision and both items are very high quality and well designed. I was worried that the bubble level would be loose and flip easily but it doesn't, it holds where you put it. Easily mounted to my Vortex scope.

Best quality & design on the market!!
It took me awhile before I decided to spend the money for this unit, but when it showed up and I had a chance to take a look at the quality and design I was very impressed. Very easy to attach to the scope as well as adjusting the level and works great out in the field. Highly recommend this product!!

I like the design
I like the design, operation, value very much. A 5 min. install job on an already mounted scope turned into a 15 min dexterity exercise because I was juggling the1 inch inserts and trying to hook the latch in a small space. So I give it 4 stars because having 2 screws (instead of 1 screw and a latch) would have saved me a lot of grief. I still love it when compared to the $159 NF version.
