Review: Good Music Tune For Wooden Music Box - Good music movement to make into a wooden box for a relative who lost her husband. Review: Item as described and arrived quickly. Music box replacement plays Amazing Grace beautifully! - Many years ago my son, who passed away 2 months ago, gave me porcelain praying hands on a wooden music box. Along the way, the musical insert stopped working and the box was misplaced. I recently happened upon the box which was in very poor condition. Music box replacement plays Amazing Grace beautifully! *by C***M on August 6, 2021* Many years ago my son, who passed away 2 months ago, gave me porcelain praying hands on a wooden music box. Along the way, the musical insert stopped working and the box was misplaced. I recently happened upon the box which was in very poor condition. I restored it, including replacing the musical insert (which was this purchase) and am so happy with the results! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made in China *by D***N on December 19, 2018* l liked that I received it before Christmas! I am making a music box for my wife. I do scroll saw projects and saw the pattern on Steve Good"s blog that I subscribe to and wanted to give it a go. Since it is made in China I only gave it four stars. They only send machine screws to attach this mechanism to what you are building. The mechanism has several holes that have been tapped for machine screws which are included so I am altering it to accept wood screws to attach to the base of the music box. Since my wife does her scripture reading every morning I purchased the mechanism in the Amazing Grace music selection. As far as quality, we'll see down the line. Do not judge the sound until you attach it to the box you are making, it becomes much more amplified attached to a wooden enclosure. Hope this helps but this is the first movement I have ever chosen. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/39566304-18-note-windup-gold-plating-clockwork-mechanism-diy-music-box](https://www.desertcart.be/products/39566304-18-note-windup-gold-plating-clockwork-mechanism-diy-music-box) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
