The Chest/Calf Stretching Strap is an easy-to-use device designed to stretch the muscles called the pectoralis (pec) minor. The pec minor connects the front of the ribs to the front of the shoulder and is responsible for pulling the shoulder girdle forward and down. The device stretches the pec minor by gently pulling the shoulder blades back and up. With more flexible chest muscles the back muscles are better able to hold their position which alleviates soreness and cramping in the back. Foam-padded straps allow comfortable, slip-free positioning on the shoulders. It's also designed to easily stretch the muscles of the calf - the gastrocnemius and soleus. Tight calves can lead to plantar fasciitis, heal spurs, calf injury and knee pain. Stretches the extensor muscles of the neck which become tight as a result of forward head. This device is easy to use
This device is easy to use, does exactly what it claims, is inexpensive, and it will last a life time. I have always been concerned about my posture worsening with age. With this strap to stretch my chest muscles, I no longer need to be concerned. When your posture is great, you look better and feel more confident and powerful. Plus, I like the added bonus of stretching my calves. It's a win-win!
