This is a fabulous set, and so reasonably priced. A steal! Well balanced, easy to clean, wonderfully sharp. I think anyone who sees the kitchen as the home's entertainment center, as I do, would love these. Handsomely​ boxed, would make a wonderful wedding present.

Bought these to replace my current kitchen knives which are now about 11 years old. They were well packaged and I was very surprised at the nice quality of these knives for the very reasonable price. A few other reviews said the magnet holder was not strong enough and that they were not sharp upon arrival, I have to say I have not experienced that in the least. The magnet is strong, the knives are very secure and they are quite sharp. Would purchase again.

OK, these knives are not sharp. Maybe if you sharpen them they could be great. I appreciate the look, the price is decent when considering the cleaver and bread knife but the performance is disappointing out of the box, they don't work better than the old dinged knives I bought them to replace.

Based on prior reviews I was expecting better quality and weight. They are just okay. They feel light and not particularly well made for a medium priced set of knives. The magnetic "block" was decent quality but not of any use if you don't want to display your knives on the counter.

i Had to change my review as they started rusting after 2 weeks of use. I was able to clean them this time with some chemicals but I think I’ll have to throw them out pretty soon which is disappointing. Those are not dishwasher safe btw. The Magnetic stand is nice

The magnetic pull is fairly strong, you should twist the knife when removing from the board. The knifes look very high quality as well. The board itself is fairly sturdy.

Very happy with this knife set. Arrived on time, knives were sharp out of the box. Have used for a few weeks and haven't needed to sharpen yet.

coating on the handles started peeling off. I could scrape it off with my thumb nail.
