This is a good one.
Much lighter than lead acid. Holds charge longer. Has protective circuit to prevent accidental discharge from knocking voltage so low you can't recharge. This is a good one.

Best power-sport Battery I have ever purchased.
Absolute beast of a battery. Use on my 500EXC in the summer and winter (snow-bike conversion) so It sees both hot and cold extremes and has performed wonderfully. A great example of solid american craftsmanship and ingenuity. Well done!Caveat: I have only had this for about 5 months, but I have seen no degradation in resting voltage, even after having it sit untended in 30-40f temps for a month. It then started the bike on the first attempt.

crap out, and expensive
these are super lightweight so ideal for dirt bikes but they don't last very long - have two dead ones and I have the special charger needed to bring them back to life if the battery managment kicks in and they seem dead - mine really are. And they are expensive! Shame I want to like them

Awesome Powerful Reliable
How the heck do you overcharged this battery on a motorcycle. The max rated charge rate is 15V @ 5 Amp. These people must be using the wrong chargers thus destroying it. If the battery gets used constantly, there should be no reason to charge it manually. This battery is awesome.

below average batteries and questionable warranty and customer support
Not a lot to like. I used the ETX12A in both, my DRZ-400S and DRZ-400SM. They lasted just over 2 years. They might turn over the engine 4 times, and they are dead. I have the correct Battery charger, and I check my Voltages frequently, and you can see the charged max voltage drop, after about 6 month, which is a indicator of the capacity and health of your battery. My capacity dropped about 5% per month after the initial 6 month. I paid about 320 bucks for 2 of these. Do yourself a favor and use Shorai are Antigravity Lithium batteries. I have both, and the shorai in my FZ-09 is 6 years old and has zero problems and still has 80% capacity. The Antigravity is a replacement for a Earth X ETX18F, which I used in my FZ-10. That one lasted 17 month and it was dead. I contacted Earth X customer service and they told my that Amazon wasn't an approved dealer and that the battery was already a year old the day I purchased it, and denied my warranty claim. Also, they told me that my charger or my alternator might be faulty, which is funny, since Shorai and Antigravity batteries are charged with the same charger and put in the same bikes. Save your money. EarthX is a company that won't stand behind their products.

Super light weight and small compared to a normal battery
Love how light it is, Works great as a starter battery but does not function well as a stereo battery to pull from

Complete waste of money
I've owned three EarthX batteries, and every single one of them died after a couple of years. Save your money and just buy a $30 generic battery. You can get five of them for the same money, and they'll last just as long.

Effective Use
I used this battery to support our solar powered patio louver system. Works great, as expected.
