Tread Comfort Caprice Bullnose Carpet Stair Tread with Adhesive Padding (Single 31" Wide Tread, Graphite)

Love this thing!!! Bought one to try it out. I have a Great Dane who is aging and has become afraid of the 2 varnished hard wood steps down to our living room. I was worried about the ability of the adhesive to truly keep it in place. It has worked like a dream!!! I installed it to the side a bit since the steps are about 7 feet wide. It helps my dog to follow a carpeted path. The funny part is that I've noticed we have all gravitated to using it. Now I need another for the other side. The tread gets a lot of use since all humans and dogs are using it and it is very solidly in place. It vacuums beautifully and cleans easily. The food that got spilled and the cleanup didn't affect the adhesive at all. I did clean it with water and a handheld carpet cleaner. I used that at night so it was dry by morning just in case the adhesive was affected. It didn't seem to be and by morning it was dry.

worked out great on our stairs! very clean look and much easier to install and ensure they are straight than a regular runner!

Wow, these are great!! Dog is older and has been slipping on hardwood stairs with worn sm carpet tread and she was more confident today. Also feels good in barefeet too.
