Great little torch
I had one of these for 15 years and it finally crocked. I wanted a replacement that was as good as the original. This one is great. It is well worth the extra money because the flame is fine, pointed and powerful. I use is for fine filigree and chain making.

Nice torch
I haven’t used this brand before but I am happy with it. Easier to turn off and on and adjust flame than some of the child proof ones. Not knocking them but if you have tendonitis in one hand, it can be difficult. Use a high quality fuel, too.

Looks like my original one from the late 1980s
It looks exactly like the one I have had since the late 1980s. I recently dropped my original one and broke it. I use it mainly for soldering wire together.

Wire Jewelry - Poor Customer Service
This review is for Wire Jewelry, not the Blazer torch. I have another torch like this and it’s a great product. The seller? NOT great!I placed an order for this torch on January 1st. The item arrived defective. I attempted a return/replacement with Wire Jewelry, believing that they would pay return shipping costs for an exchange, as they sent me a defective item. Instead, they referred me to the manufacturer of the item to get it repaired or replaced under warranty. That was ridiculous for 2 reasons. First… if I walked into a retail store and purchased an item that turned out to be defective, it would be replaced and they would return to the manufacturer. I’m confident that they would not expect me to deal with it under a warranty. Second, while I’m trying to get this resolved under the warranty, I am losing the warranty window. They indicated to me in a message that I don’t understand how warranties work. I know exactly how they work! Warranties are for items that you receive in good working order, you use them, something goes wrong with the item, you contact the company for warranty options. This item was never used because it NEVER worked!I got sick and tired of dealing with Wire Jewelry and their inability to understand how retail sales should be handled. I contacted Blazer to go through the warranty route. Blazer’s customer support is very good, but in dealing with it in this manner, here it is over a month later and I don’t have this item that I need. If Wire Jewelry had been fair about this, the item could have been returned to them early January, I could have reordered the same day, and I’d have a working item within 2-3 days. In addition, I found Wire Jewelry selling the exact same item on the KMart site for $20 less. I refused to pay shipping to send the defective item back to them on top of the excessive price on Amazon.I would have left a zero star rating for this company, if I could.

Pricey!
One of the best torches I’ve used. Replacing one I’ve used regularly for 20 years. Expensive, but works
