G4 Base 15 LED Disk Lamp - 12V AC DC Side Position, for Marine Boat, RV, Auto and DIY (Warm White)

I bought these to replace the 20w halogens in a Microwave hood.... it did a good job, but when you get them they are surprisingly large and have large components on the unlit sidePro:- light is very similar to halogen, but whiter / hotter temp... halogen are usually 2950K, these are about 3200-3300 ... I prefer the true warm white 3000 bulbs but this did do the job- they are dimmable- I experienced no flickering- they are brighter than 20w halogens, I would say almost 30w- should last about 20 years at 8 hours a day- plugged in and fit no problem on a standard over the counter Kenmore / Whirlpool MicrowaveCon:- LEDs don't change color like halogens, so as halogens get cooler / more yellow when dimmed, these stay exactly the same which feels a bit odd at first- when dimmed they don't have much of a step... halogens are like 100%, 60%, 30%-, where these are 100%, 80%, 70%... so dimming doesn't have the same effect, may be a little bright for a night night- very large, may not fit in some devices.. bigger than a quarter... about half dollar size.... basically huge for a bulb...overall I'm very pleased they are dimmable, are a halogen like color, have great brightness, and fit my microwavegood purchase....enjoy!!!

Excellent. I am posting a review because mine worked for 6 years on about 70% of the time. They recently developed a buzz so I'm buying replacements. I use them in a hoodrange and in the last year they've been getting plenty of moisture as I boil wort for beer. The hoodrange has cover for the lights, but it's not moisture tight, I think this is why they started to buzz.Description is misleading. They are bright blue-ish white (similar to "daylight" fluorescents).

Perfect replacement for VERY HOT 20 watt halogen bulbs in recessed camper ceiling fixtures. Claimed lumens are slightly lower, but perceived brightness is higher. Could be caused by their slightly cooler (whiter) color. Are not too "blue white", they look natural with no glare but make the halogens appear dingy yellow in comparison. The components on the back fit into the fixture reflector cup, but my fixture outlet holes are on a slight angle so I had to CAREFULLY bend the pins to adjust the disk to mount flat. Do not dim quite as far as the halogens with my dimmer control, but do drop to a more than reasonable "mood" level.

I bought 8 of these to replace the halogen bulbs in a under counter light installation. Light color is almost a perfect match to the halogens. I gave it 4 stars because the lights would flicker when used with the 12V transformer that came with the halogens. Once I switched from the transformer to an LED driver, the flickering stopped.

A little bigger in size than others I have purchased for my LED make over in my RV, still fit fine.

I bought it as a replacement for 25W or 35W bi-pin halogen bulb for my desk lamp. Great light and no heat – no heat at all!!! Love it!

Nice bright light, a little on the yellowish side, but better than the bright (day light) white lights out there.
