**Q: Has anyone experience a malfunction after a few months of it doing a “beep, beep, beep” and not working properly?**
A: I do not have the trouble you mentioned.  Did you check the battery? It might be low.

**Q: Anyone figure out how to change the volume? Doesn't seem like there is a way to do it, in spite of the package saying there is a way to control it.**
A: Sorry I can't help you.  I did not purchase this item.

**Q: the boy I purchased it for is over 1 year, about two months. Is this alright to give him?**
A: I wouldn't; my son is 8 months. Once I received this item in the mail, I thought it was too basic so I returned it. Kids need to be stimulated. There are much better options out there for a 1 year old.
