If you have a rotisserie oven or otherwise need to tie up meat or poultry for cooking then you need these elastic ties! Yes, you could go the cheaper route and wrestle with pieces of of string as you try to tie up your chicken or turkey but why bother with scissors and awkward strips of string when your life could be so much easier by using one of these elastic ties.The best thing about these elastic ties is that they are already tied closed (so they are shaped like a loop) and they are elastic and stretch to fit the part of the bird that you are tying up. When I tie up a chicken I am usually able to stretch the elastic and loop it twice over the body to include securing the wings and then I use another elastic tie and loop it twice over the body including over the legs.The elastic ensures a very secure and tight tie, so I never have to worry about it loosening up and having the wings or legs of the bird drop out of the tie and hit the heating element of my rotisserie which could cause a fire hazard.In sum, I would dub these "the lazy man's food tie" because they are really that easy and effortless to use and they really do make your life so much easier when you need to truss turkey or chicken or tie other cuts of meat. So, do yourself a favor and get these food ties to have on hand for your cooking needs. The pack of 50 of them really goes a long way and will last you a long time. I highly recommend them!

We have only used these once, and that was to truss a chicken for our new rotisserie oven. We had tried ordinary trussing twine for some previously, and these food ties were easier to use, as they are continuous elastic loops. They also held up under the intense heat of the electric rotisserie cooking process.

I absolutely love my Rotisserie oven that I purchased iver 10 years ago. I finally ran out of ties. I looked for them on Amazon and Yay, I found them. They work perfectly. They withstand the heat with no problem. When the chicken is done, they are easy to remove leaving the ties in tact. Would purchase again.

They are what it says they are. Elastic food ties, like big rubber bands. They just didn't workout for me. Since they are rubber they don't get tight like string. I cut them and tried to tie them tight but no, it just didn't hold tight. If you want a tight hold then this is not the right choice.

These work so well with my rotisserie, I'm so glad these are available with subscribe and save. They are life saver with those dang chicken legs, I can't keep them tied up otherwise. These are very elastic though, so you are going to cut a lot off. Work great with roasts as well, just like the ones that came with my machine.

These elastic ties are great for rolled roasts. My husband regularly buys large pieces of meat, removes the fat and bone and makes a delicious rolled roasts. These ties are very helpful, just like the ones from the butcher shop.

JUST WHAT WE HOPED TO RECEIVE, AS ADVERTISED STURDY, AMBLE TO TIE TO FIT ALL DIFFERENT SIZES OF MEATS FOR OUR BBQ DOES NOT BURN OFF TIES TIGHT AND STRETCHES NICELY AS NEEDED AROUND DIFFERENT MEAT OR CHICKEN CUTS WILL ORDER AGAIN, GOOD VALUE FOR THE PRICE
