I discovered GNC valerian root for insomnia back in the 80s. It worked then. I'm pleasantly surprised to say, it's working now. Terrible herbal smell and taste, and the pill is a bit large. I'm 53 years old, I have a chronic history of cPTSD, depression, anxiety, and sleep apnea, so getting good sleep has always been an issue. I was taking Trazodone, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I also tried Seroquel, but the side effects were just way too much, and I developed Serotonin Toxicity. Fingers crossed that this is the answer for me. Thank you for reading.

This is a fine product from gnc store when one can get it . GNC is expanding its variety of valerian root for sleep. Any less than stellar review will not posted despite majority of 5 star reviews even if not verified purchased. This is popular product & fir 2 yrs can be hard to find in my area, so I buy in bulk at gnc.

This supplement may work as claimed but when I opened the bottle, the smell was atrocious! The smell was that of a rotting carcass of a dead animal. The whole room was inundated with the stink! Too bad this item could not be returned. Just be forewarned if you purchase this item!
