OCTO LIGHTS Fluorescent Light Covers do a very good job of providing a shield to the harsh fluorescent lighting in the office. The patterns available are very bright, quality images, and the covers are made of solid quality materials. For a standard 2x4 fluorescent light a slight amount of trimming may be necessary for the cover to fit completely inside the fixture. While the price does seem high, the quality is top notch, and these will not need to be replaced and with that in mind they are not so expensive. I would certainly purchase again and appreciate the new tranquil look they provide.

Wonderful, amazing

This is a cool product to change up the bright white sterile light beaming down from above however I had to knock off two stars for the following reasons that I encountered. First, the cloud image print I received has a small splotch/defect in one of the corners... it's not obvious unless you know where to look but now that I know... it's impossible for me not to focus in on it. Second, my space uses Troffer lights by Cooper Solutions... to install you can't just merely pull down a tab to undo the frame. Instead you have to disconnect the power to the panel (which is directly wired so you have to cut the circuit in the breaker box first), remove the entire light fixture from the drop ceiling, unscrew 30+ tiny screws that hold the diffuser between the frame and the light, fit the octolight cover into place, and then do each previous step in reverse. What may be a 5 minute job for most scenarios actually takes closer to 30-45 minutes for Troffer lights.The thought of doing all of the aforementioned steps and then packing it up and going through the returns process to replace the product has me feeling way too defeated so I guess my tip is to thoroughly inspect the image prior to installing... and also, verify you don't have pain in the butt lights. The image did fit but it was quite labor intensive to install.

I loved everything about this and the ease of install. How professional it looks and stays while providing relief from the bright overheads!

I was hesitant to buy as they seemed pretty pricey for one cover and wasn't sure how they would actually look. I bought the "clouds" panel. No disappointments upon arrival: High quality product with excellent photo rendering on durable material. Very easy to install and they look great. I am going to buy another for another set of lights.I was able to use one cover for two 11" x 48" fixtures in a downstairs hobby room. It is easily cut or trimmed with good scissors and lays perfectly flat. If you cut it in half like I did, buy a design that allows for symmetry. Also, clean the clear lens panels first. The covers noticeably reduce the amount of light transmitted, but for my purposes that is fine as I don't like flourescent glare.No problem recommending these.

I just moved into a windowless office. I've been trying my best to avoid using the harsh florescents and bring better lighting into the space... I noticed that a co-worker had an OCTO LIGHT and decided to give it a try. I absolutely LOVE it. The lighting is so much gentler with a little cloud cover. ;) Not only that, but the customer service is top notch! I bought two with the intention of comparing them and returning one, but utterly missed the deadline according to the return policy. I reached out anyway and in the process of preparing the item to be returned, it became damaged (be sure to handle with care and keep it away from water!!). Oy vey! The response from OCTO LIGHT was prompt, patient, respectful, gracious, kind, and the issue was resolved beyond my expectations. Thanks OCTO LIGHT, I'm a fan.

I love the way they look. It looks as though I’ve installed skylights in my office. The reaction people have when they first see them is hilarious - they are so surprised! I personally feel calmer in my office than I ever have before. But I am also excited to report that my employees have said the same types of things about them too!I am in charge of a large IT team. We deal with a lot of stressful technical issues and personnel issues. Plus, we live in a grey and dreary area near the Great Lakes that has really long winters and really short summers.I have two lights in my office that I put these into and everyone who has noticed them thinks they are so cool. One of my senior employees came to my office to see me about some disciplinary issues this week, and after we talked, he sat back in the chair and said “I feel more relaxed after coming in here today.” And then he looked up and said, “I wonder if it’s because of the clouds. I actually think they’re making me feel calmer.”Several of my employees have commented on my office feeling calmer now that I’ve ‘installed skylights’ in my office (LOL). Others are envious and they think I need to get them put into all of the light fixtures.These were super simple to ‘install’. No harder than laying a very large sheet of thick paper onto a table that’s positioned above your head.These are quite thick and durable. I was extremely happy by the fact that even though they arrived rolled up like a tube, they flattened right out immediately and there are no curled ends or any lifting-up edges. They really are quite perfect and truly simple to put in.They darken the room quite a bit tho, so I’m considering getting brighter bulbs.

had to cut to fit 2 fixtures but worked out great. you loose about 25% of your light output as well

This worked perfectly for our room. No one complaint s of headaches anymore. The room initially felt kinda dark, but now that we are used to it, it’s not noticeable.
