HOUSE NUMBER Address Stone / (Carved Slate Marker) Mailbox Plaque #4S

We are in So. Arizona and many houses are southwestern or Santa Fe styling...like ours. We also have an abundance of natural materials that create our landscaping, like rocks! So choosing a natural stone address plaque was a no-brainer for us. We are located in the high dessert and our summers aren't to awful, with 90's temps and not terribly cold winters, 20's -40's lows, with frost and occasional snow. Our house faces the morning eastern sun and by noon the garage is shadowed. Seller advised the plaque was clear coated prior to shipment however depending on the elements and exposure, the plaque may need re-coating in time to prevent stone and paint fading. TBD. Seller was prompt with message inquires prior to purchase, as well as confirming our color choice of White Paint for our numbers, upon order submission. (we were instructed by the seller to msg and advise of the color choice immediately after submitting the order. otherwise black is the default paint color.) Plaque shipped 1 week after order placed. Arrived 5 business days later. Plaque was well protected to insure safe shipping and prevent breakage. Plaque has mounting holes predrilled and mounting screws included. (Predrill your holes where this will be mounted to prevent any stress on the plaque while installing) We did use the included screws as well as clear silicone adhesive to the back side of the screw and plaque hole to insure a secure mount to our stucco exterior. Screw cap covers were also included. Am very happy with the final results and styling of this plaque for our Santa Fe home. As for price, s/h and taxes...these all apply to this order and will not ship Prime 2-day. In the end, this was a spendy address plaque ($150) compared to so many other custom types however I only plan to purchase one address sign! It is our home, it adds to the curb appeal and looks so much classier than the boring metal numbers from the hardware stores.

For a natural/rural look, this product is great. The marker's carved numbers and letters are precise and colored in black. The slate marker is maybe 3/8 of an inch thick and hence requires some rear support. I mounted mine on a wooden back plate stained to match surrounding stair rails, which I placed in my front yard. See pictures.The sellers are quite committed to customer satisfaction, and shipped the item by priority mail which arrived within 2-4 days of shipping, instead of the 8 - 12 days as suggested by their Amazon add.I'd recommend this product assuming it meets your aesthetic taste.
