Sets The Standard for Poor Quality
Took one trip. After 3 nights of my mother in law sleeping on it the "cushions" for the bed have permanent indentations. (She weighs all of 98 pounds). Also, the surface has started to flake off, see attached photo. Update: After contacting the company that sells this, their advice was to contact someone to repair the flaking surface and then submit the bill to them to maybe be paid. What a joke. If you are thinking of buying this, don't do it. Not comfortable to sleep on and not comfortable to sit on.

I got my money's worth with this sofa!
Perfection to the tee! I researched and looked for 2 months. Finally decided on this Thomas Payne 68inch trifold sofa. It is so beautiful and so well made. Well worth the money spent.

Good Initial Quality as Replacement for RV Sofa
This seems to be a good quality replacement unit for an RV that had similar bonded leather that was disintegrating. It was not difficult to get into the camper and was relatively easy to assemble the back to the base. I'm downgrading one star since the mounting bolts for the back were loose in the box, with two bolts and nuts missing. There was a small (5 inch) tear in the backing material on the bottom rear of the unit that seems to show a little mishandling somewhere before it was boxed. Also, there were no assembly instructions or anything on how to fold the bed out and nothing inside the box that gives contact information for the manufacturer-- so there's no way to ask for the missing bolts. As all sofa beds are, this is fairly heavy. Hopefully that also means it is durable. The material is pleasantly soft, not sticky like plastic would be and seems like it will be easily cleaned. The unit isn't hard to open, with a 5 step process: 1) remove the cushions on the back, 2) pull up and out on the front edge of the seat, 3) fold the metal legs out and down, 4) extend the end/seat all the way out (center section folds open), 5) fold the hinged back of the sofa down & forward to complete the bed. Also, like most sofa beds, as configured it isn't super comforatble for sleeping. We plan to use a standard-sized "full" air mattress on top as we did with the old sofa.As seating, it is very comfortable. The seat itself is firm while the back cushions are pleasantly fluffy. The 68" version is wide enough that even a tall person can sit sideways, with feet and legs up on the seat. As the photo shows, the doeskin color is a good match for the existing RV interior. I'm crossing my fingers that the upholstery material can manage being stored in Texas summer heat and that the sofa will last for several years travel. At the Amazon price, this seems to be a good value.

Upholstery disintegrating!!!!
We keep our RV in covered storage. The upholstery on our sofa started to disintegrate in 4 years! I expected more from a $1300 sleeper sofa.

Very comfortable for both sitting and sleeping
Very comfortable for both sitting and sleeping. We asked manufacturer if it would fit through our 22 inch RV door. They said no, needs to be 26 inches wide. Plus it was not available for one or two months through Amazon.Ordered from our RV dealer and got it cheaper and within a week. Trifold comes in pieces so no problemgetting through our door. Would definitely recommend product. Heavy duty material and Very comfortable.

Wrong couch sent
We ordered what you see in the photo - an ivory sofa. What we received was dark brown and a different style. It still fit in the camper and even though it doesn’t match what we have, we didn’t want to go to the headache of returning and reordering. It sits great and is very soft.
