to be fair I did not use the sink connector, I just used this like a run of the mill gravel cleaner that You find that you have to manually get going on Your own . I can not see using a sink running all that water to power a gravel cleaner , so My Idea was to just forget about connecting to a faucet and just run the hose outside to empty . That did work , BUT one flaw is that the hose itself is not rigid enough where is connects to the end of the gravel cleaner , it would kink cutting off flow . Meaning You have to watch it or flow would slow to a trickle . It is still better then what I had and I did manage to work around the issue by draping the hose over my shoulder . Even so the suction power is at best not all that powerful. The added little end cap for the gravel cleaner end tube is a joke and worthless , thew that pos in the trash also I am not comfortable filling back up a tank then adding de-chlorinator , I add to my water before it reaches my fish

This product was easy to assemble and was nice to have a super long hose to my outdoor faucet to get the suction going.One thing to consider is your home water quality. My tap water is very hard and must sit a day before i can add it to my tank so I use this for when I do a deep clean and expect to be emptying a lot of the tank.

Comes packaged well in a sturdy box. Easy to put together and use. I like that it comes with different faucet adapters. Good price point for the product. Comparable to the aqueon water changer but this one is a little better. Not quite as sturdy as the python, but for the price that's ok. Would be nice if it was compatible with the python hook, but maybe they will develop a similar product. I would say the little orange detritus vacuum attachment would be useful in a gravel or bare bottom tank, not so much with sand.

The media could not be loaded.  Very smooth valve allows for 1 handed control. Very easy to use. Works for barebottom tanks too.

Very handy! I was filling my tanks with 5 gallon bucket and draining my tanks with a hose today I vacuumed my tank with this then filled it back up with ease. Definitely disappointed I waited so long to purchase this. It comes with all sorts of fitting I unscrewed the screen filter on my bathroom sink and screwed in the adapter. Simple to use!

These adaptors are not for every kitchen or sink tap.. i had to get a universal connector. If you are using the outdoor pipe. You should be good.

I originally had the water exchanger by Aqueon, that lasted about 2 years. However, I find this product easier to use and more durable.

No more buckets up and down stairs.
