One of the best movies out there!
This movie was so good!!!! 10/10 I recommend for any child or adult. The books was beautiful and this movie really captures the essential message from the book!! I can’t tell you how many times I watch this as a comfort movie and it makes me cry and feel joyful when I need to remember what life is about and the intricate details of what it means to be a child and grow up in an adult centered world.Your kids will love it, as well as adults!

an essential film and an essential lesson told wonderfully
The French, are a little different from you and I, but they are also the same. Here is a told a story nested inside a story, that begins a failure and ends a success. That teaches us we are all alone, yet does it with love and the understanding that we are all connected and born blind until we learn to see with our hearts. It is whimsical, and heartfelt and the acting, though only voices and paper and ink and such, are more real than most people I meet in the "real world". I watch this at least annually and it never disappoints me.It is a well told tale, that carries many important messages about life and people, and the people in your life. It can be watched by children and surely they will enjoy it, but should you be an adult with even the smallest of spark of child left within you, it will be the strong breath, that metamorphizes that spark back into a flame, like tinder in the wind. For remembering the world within and the magic of a world seen through childs eyes alone, this movie is worth watching. But it is much more, a well told story, told well and how rare that has become.

Beautiful movie
This is really a tremendous movie for both children and adults. It is a French animated film that weaves together CG and stop-motion animation seamlessly. For animation fans, the result is a real treat. The story works on multiple levels and the voice talent is superb.

Love this sweet film that captures the spirit of the book
While this film is not an exact replication of the book Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, it does a wonderful job of capturing the spirit of the book. All the major themes of the book are here, as well as most of the well-loved quotes from the book, they are just presented in a little different way that introduces a new generation to one of the most important children's books of our time. It's a visually breathtaking film (especially the animation of the parts where the aviator is telling the story of meeting the little prince) and the music is gorgeous too. I love that this film is enjoyable for children to watch and understand (my 5-year-old daughter really loved it) but it also has many layers that adults will understand and relate to on a deeper level. No matter how many times I watch it, this film makes me sob in the end. It deserves alllll the stars, in my opinion!

A forever favorite!!
This movie was a beautiful surprise that we stumbled across a few years ago. We have watched it many times since, and now own it. It's on par with other beautiful, animated masterpieces like Song of the Sea, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, Arriety, etc. It's like a cozy blanket and a warm cup of tea; it just makes me happy. The story is for older children to adults, but my youngest was quite young when we first watched it. It's a good conversation starter for several topics such as: how to interact with strangers, lying, talking to parents, divorce, school, success, values, death/loss, etc. Although most of the deeper topics will fly over the heads of little ones, it's not a movie to mindlessly plunk them down in front of; it's a lovely work of art to be enjoyed together (or by yourself). The story is such a brilliant twist to a favorite classic, and the animation is gorgeous. This film is a treasure hidden in the vast array of mediocre nonsense aimed at children.

Get it. You will love it, andw atch it several times over. Good for adults as well as kids.
My dog picked this out when it was on Netflix. He loved watching TV, and would pick a movie by bumping the icon of a movie he was interested in with his nose. I kid you not; he was amazing. I watched a lot of really good movies I would never have otherwise watched because of him. This was the last one he picked before he became ill and died of cancer. The film itself - stellar pick, Wulfric. It's a wonderful movie, and so well-made with some amazing talent. Wulfie had good taste, and I highly recommend it, too. You will laugh. You will cry. You will be taken on an incredible journey with this movie. And it's NOT just for kids.Wulf was a rescue dumped in the alley. I found him, and took him in. It took some "taming," because he'd had a rough start. So the fox became particularly relevant. I wish I'd had more time with Wulfie, 8 years was not long enough. But every time I watch this, he is here with me.
