Easy step!
We added the fender step as a safety measure when leaving the dock. It allows us to board making an easy step between the dock and the boat deck. The part supplied for inflating the fender didn't work well so we used a pump with and adapter that we already had.

Looks good, works well, but is major headache to fill with air and comes deflated.
This step bumper looks really nice and works quite well, once you figure out how to fill the damn thing with air. They need to include an air nozzle to fill it. I had to disassemble my nozzle and insert a nail to push down the pin in the valve to get it to fill up. Nobody I know had the correct nozzle. The valve is waaay down into the bumper.

Well made product. Comes with a quite valuable attachment that makes filling this with a bicycle tire pump a snap. Took less than five minutes to fill it, once I figured out which way the attachment fits into the fender step (soft rubber side facing step - valve side facing pump).

LOVE IT
I bought the fender step because my wife was having issues getting on the boat. Rather than getting a ladder I decide to try the Fender Step. LOVE IT works perfectly!!

Perfect for our sailboat.
This fender is great for low docks, and our high freeboard. It is very useful while traveling.

Quality has returned
Seems like the quality construction has returned so we night one and are very happy with it, the last two we had failed due to poor quality.

Worked great for three weeks then developed a small tear and deflated.
