this is a nice thermometer, I bought it for my BBQ. I like that it can be easily attached to the grill using the magnets. The unit itself is simple to use with touch screen (I was surprised to learn that). Note that it comes with two probes however only once can be used, I am using it as a backup probe just in case. You can either set time or temperature and when using temperature you have preset temps for different type of meats and level of preparation (Well, medium, med-rare and rare) - super useful!

Great tool to have for any kitchen. My husband and I recently purchased a house so we are filling it with all random gadgets and this was great essential to have. Works good, accurate, easy to figure out, easy to clean couldn't ask for anything more!

I am amending a previous poor review of this product. I attached the thermometer to the oven via the magnets on the device. I did this twice. The first time worked out well. I used the “temperature” setting while cooking a pork loin, and the meat was perfectly cooked——it was moist and so tender I could cut it with a fork. The second time I used it to cook Thanksgiving Day turkey. Halfway through the roasting, the thermometer’s back side MELTED. The magnets came off the thermometer and were still on the oven door, while the thermometer fell off the door and onto the counter. I gave the product and the seller a one-star review. Shortly after KitchenBros contacted me, and offered a new thermometer. They gave me a refund credit which I used to purchase a new device from Amazon. I received the new thermometer and have used it to cook moist and tender meats. I am very impressed with this company and their integrity. I’m pleased with the thermometer. I only have one caveat to the buyers: DO NOT ATTACH THE THERMOMETER TO THE OVEN DOOR. Even though the device has magnets on the back, it’s not meant to attach to the oven. Worked great the first couple of times, then one probe stopped working (unless the room temp of my kitchen is 187*F!). The other probe still worked, so I wasn’t worried. I purchased 5/19/18, today is 7/17/18- and the second probe is reading the room temperature in my kitchen at 194*F. Less than two months worth of use out of this? Garbage.

We bought the thermometer for making yogurt and it worked as planned for a few months. Then it started to glitch in the screen and eventually the temperature stopped reading correctly. Customer service was okay but they could not directly send us a new one and offered a 99% off coupon for a new one or 19.95 back to a PayPal account. We asked for another option and then they got back with having Amazon credit us after we purchase a new one. We still ended up paying the tax. Not too impressed they couldn't just send a new one like we asked. We liked it when it worked so we will see if this new one holds up.

Unit is fine and works well and is accurate checked in boiling water and slushy ice water. However the present reading is in my opinion set wrongly for beef. Rare beef should be set at around 45 degrees centigrade as I let it rest for one hour , the roasting pan covered with towels to keep warm and the beef keeps cooking for another 8 to 10 degrees. If you cook to 60 degrees C and let it rest you will have well done beef and will be ruined.

I’ve had this for a year and a half and have been quite happy with it until recently. Now the temperature reading frequently reads HHH, telling me nothing. I’ve change the batteries and put a new probe in, but get the same results. I found no way to contact the company even though the description says “Lifetime guarantee and money back”.

Customer Service stepped up and offered me a new thermometer or my money back. I opted for money back and they refunded it. I aprreciate their reputability, therefore, I changed my rating from one star to 4...This thermometer never worked. I bought it to use with meat on the grill, as soon as I put it in the meat, it beeped to indicate the meat was done, and temp was high when the meat was still raw. I tried it with pork and chicken and both probes ... I tried it before putting meat on grill, when meat was already on grill, and when I thought the meat was close to be done. Didn’t return it since I used it.
