Fragile but good
As other reviews note, these are EXTREMELY fragile. That said, they do what they say on the tin (for the most part). Most of the ones I've tested end up reading in the 0.6v range under intense light, and have a consistent gradient of output as light is applied. They're trivially easy to get dirty - 90% or better isopropyl alcohol seems to do a good job for cleaning, and doesn't degrade the cells.

Good, but hard to work with
Great for hobby builds, they are very fragile and soldering on them is not easy, I have found making sure the surface is clean and using an iron around 300c works best.

Very, Very fragile 1
Electrically, these are a five-star product, but you might not wind up being to use them. They seem to be an intermediate manufacturing product: scribed from the silicon wafer but not prepared for end use. Extremely thin and brittle. The product description is accurate and to be believed. Ideally, they would be integrated into solar-power manufactured goods - handled robotically and terminated by automated equipment. Prove me wrong by using a manual vacuum tip and your micro-soldering skills. I have done successful cell phone parts-level repair using watchmakers magnifying glasses and dental tools. It is the unsupported silicon wafer structure that is the difficulty. These mini solar cells are a good value if you can use them. Note that the surface and metallization is unprotected: vulnerable to destruction from contamination and moisture as well as mechanical damage. I had some luck glueing them down to G-10 epoxy-glass laminate circuit board material but ultimately had to buy PV solar cells already packaged and terminated. In a word: these are an excellent product but probably not suitable for use by us experimenters and inventors.

A great fit for custom solar cell projects
Cells are very small - 2 x 3/4 inches. The entire stack of 100 is an inch thick. Each cell is thinner than a postcard, line them up and you can feel the difference with your finger. The entire thing is about three stacked dominoes, the only things I could think of this small. They come extremely well packed. Lots of bubble wrap around a plastic-wrapped bundle of the cells. Still, delicacy is required in handling them. This is an incredibly thin glass substrate. I'm guessing a few will be broken in testing how to mount them to an adequate base material. They seem very powerful for their size. Under a very bright light the yield was 0.65 volts and 140 mA. The current surprised me. It will be interesting to see the results under sunlight. Getting 100 seems about right. There will be breakage at various steps because they are so delicate and I don't need all 100 for my projects. I like being able to make custom arrays of different voltage and current outputs and the price was awesome. Very pleased with the purchase.

hilariously fragile, reject quality
BURN MARKS. these cells do work but they are straight up not meant to be used as components like this. Many of the cells have burn marks and other indications of quality being poor. But lemme not understate how incredibly fragile these things are. A name brand potato chip has more rigidity and flexibility than these things. They literally have the durability of a paint chip or dried snot, basically none. Any slight amount of bending force is likely to damage these. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Tiny solar cells
Arrived broken and unusable.

Functional - but handle with care.
I cannot emphasize enough how fragile these little cells are. Just in the process of unwrapping the stack I had one practically explode in my hand. They'll do the job, no doubts about that, but they are very, very, very, fragile. Very fragile. Handle them like you're Nicholas Cage in The Rock disassembling VX poison gas rockets, and you probably wont break too many.

Recommended buy for DIY solar panels.
Everything said above is true. Fragile, thin, and output about right. If I wanted massive power, I would have bought an array. These will be in series on the sunny side of a mini-blind that is to be motor controlled. One caveat... check the cell output voltage before using. The second one I picked up had a 27 mV output in room light. Others in the stack were in the 140 mV range. With 100 of them, I did not consider this important enuff to knock off a star, or ask for a replacement. In fact, I ordered 200 to make sure I had enuff matching ones for several projects.

Ware angekommen wie bestellt.
Ich kann aber keine 5 Sterne vergeben, weil die diese 'It's a Gift' sache machen. Geruechten zufolge kann das probleme beim Zoll machen.
