Review: King Arthur Carbide Cutter - I use this cutter in a Dewalt 3/8" drill at 2500 rpm with the work (wood) clamped to the bench or delicate stuff in my lap. It cuts faster than sanding wheels and leaves a nice arc if you don't tilt it too far to the edge. It doesn't "catch" unless you are really careless and not focused. If your careless or bounce it your delicate work will be shattered. I have used it on maple so far and it works well. The teeth don't seem to clog up which amazed me to no end. Again you want to take nice shallow passes to keep from gouging the surface. This disc has a smaller hole in it (not 5/8") so you would have to have a special smaller sideways carving tool to use it ala body grinder. I like it. JJK
Review: Great bur, out lasted the grinder - This is a great bur. Just would have like the grinder to last longer than the Bur!!

## Features

- MULTIFUNCTION - Extremely useful for creating or carving concave or convex shapes and deep hollows in vessels like spoons and bowls. Also highly effective on wood, bone, horn, antlers, fiberglass, plastic, solid rubber, foam core, polyurethane, soapstone and composite materials.
- SMALL SIZE, BIG BITE - With a compact 2” diameter x ?” thick (50mm x 3mm) size, the MERLIN2 Coarse Red Round disc makes easy work of detailed projects while getting into places other larger tools can’t.
- EFFICIENCY - Say goodbye to tedious hand sanding! This power disk rasp gets into tight areas which previously had to be carved and smoothed by hand. Tungsten Carbide teeth are engineered for the fast, effective shaping and removal especially for convex and concave areas.
- FITMENT - The 10mm center hole fits all our fixed and variable speed MERLIN2 miniature angle grinders- A Wizard of a Tool. It also fits early model Arbortech mini grinders which have more aggressive removal but with less control.
- RUGGED DESIGN: Our Tungsten Carbide disks consist of hundreds of extremely sharp teeth to ensure tear-free shaping of the wood, along or across the grain. The wear resistant teeth are extremely hard and easy to clean, outlasting hundreds of sandpaper pads.

This is a great bur. Just would have like the grinder to last longer than the Bur!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well.
*by N***N on September 6, 2023*

I'm sculpting with a epoxy putty (EZKarve), and this does a good job grinding it. It's not like using a sanding disc, but removes what can later be sanded.
