Taiping Hou Kui tea is produced in three villages (Houkeng, Houcun, Yanjia) in Xinming county in Mount Huangshan area. Most tea plantations distribute on the mountain of elevation of 350m. Larger tea plantations include Phoenix Peak, Lion-shaped Peak, Kowloon Gang and Wuli Pei.
