2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Gloss Black billet aluminum red letter replacements

These are excellent. The template is a little smaller than the letters, but if you just assume the rivet is in the center of the letter you will be fine.I did the tailgate first and broke the the first red letter I removed, but got better at the front and was able to remove the letters in one piece.Helpful tip, drill as slow as possible and that way when the drill bit goes fully through the red letter and tries to push through the chrome base behind, the red letter actually starts lifting off down the drill bit.I am not a handyman, but took my time and installed the front and rear emblems in about an hour!Excellent product and EXACT fit inside the chrome!!

Perfect fit for my 2017 Sierra Denali 1500. Easy to install and a lot cheaper compared to other vendors. I did not do any drilling like the manual stated. Just take the chrome and pry it open. The original letters break off easily with a little force. Once that is done, I used rubbing alcohol to clean the area before apply the letters.

Bought these to swap out the f/r gmc emblems on a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali. Fits perfectly! Comes with detailed instructions and templates, took all of 15 minutes to switch out front and rear emblems. Kudos to a perfect kit and making it easy for us to ditch that ugly Rudolph nose that GMC slaps on them!

Replacement is straight forward but it does take a bit of time. It is critical to make sure that you line the stencil up properly and drill with a 1/8" bit. After marking the points switch to a 1/4" and take your time. Total install took about 30 mins and they look great.

Letters have flawed edges/not straight. The corners are not smooth 90° angles. I won't be putting these on a brand new $50,000 truck.

Whoever designed these deserves a medal. Genius idea to replace emblems easily from the exterior in 30 minutes. The drilling templates are perfect. Fit is perfect. Quality is superb. Excellent product!!!!!!
