It's nice....
I received this cover in the mail yesterday and was excited that not only was it nice an clear, but when I put it on, I could still use it with my Logitech keyboard (it fits in a groove). BUT.... I keep almost cutting myself on the edges of the thing, at the bottom by where you plug in the cord (which apparently I have my hands a lot when handling my iPad) I keep catching my fingers or hand on it and it is SHARP. I mean I am not bleeding, but it is not at all pleasant. Not sure if I am going to keep it, I like that it snaps in place, is crystal clear, and hard plastic.... but I don't know if I can learn, or should have to learn for that matter, to avoid an area of my iPad because of the case.

Good deal and good quality
I bought this case after my son dropped our iPad and did some minor cosmetic damage to the back housing. I realized this may not be the last time it would happen, so I thought it would be time to get some protection.The case, itself, is made of plastic but has a nice rubberized finish, which gives it some grippiness. I like the translucent property, which allows the Apple logo to be visible from the back. From a fit perspective, it is nicely spec'd. All the ports and corners line up perfectly and there is no play between the case and iPad - very snug. It plays well with the Apple smart cover, which protects the front.There are some reviews on here that complain that the corners broke on impact. I haven't experience this myself, but I guess I could see how that would happen. The case does a really good job at not being intrusive and that requires a thin lip at the corners. But for $10, I would gladly sacrifice a case vs what it would cost to repair cosmetic damage to the iPad itself.

Researched a lot! Best case around.
So glad I bought this case. There are a ton on the market and I wanted something which wasn't overpriced, or a piece of garbage. KaysCase is neither.I'm a little OCD about keeping my gear protected. Especially when it's not technically mine (iPad was purchased for work). I looked all over amazon and the inter webs for decent cases. Wanted something which covers just the back, very durable, and wasn't expensive. This case fit all three categories. I don't want some silly colored thing my teenage daughter would want. I don't want/need the bulky protective cases young kids need. I take care of my gear, but wanted some "insurance".It's been on for a few weeks now and I love it! I'm constantly checking it to make sure it is secure. EVERY time I check, it's still on like day one. It's very secure.Clear, secure, durable. What you need/want in a case.

corner of the case broke after a little over a month.
The case was great for the first month and a half, but last night a corner of the case broke off. It is still usable, but being I have owned the product for less than two months and it already has broke, would suggest going another direction. I purchased a speck smartshell for the Ipad 2, for my new Ipad(being reviews have said it will work fine on the new ipad) last night, so hopefully I get better results there.Update:I contacted the vendor and they are shipping me out a replacement case. I will give kudos to the vendor that they are responding to the problems with the first case.

Stress Cracks and Corner issues despite being careful
I read some of the other reviews before buying and the reviews were generally positive. I have to admit for 97% of the area of the cover is well made, but its the areas around the edges and where the cut outs are - that started showing immediate stress cracks especially around the on/off button and headphone jack. Unfortunately in less than 2 months of use, one corner is starting to give so it constantly has to be re-pinched to remain holding to the IPAD.I do think the color match was pretty good although the pink smart cover is a flatter pink than the hard shell.In all if it had lasted ... It might be a good deal at around $10.00Update: After 4 months the corners have totally broken off so it now a complete failure. Really disappointed in this purchase.

You get what you pay for
This was my alternative, due to the fact that I didn't want to pay $40+ for an iPad case.it works well for myself bc I rarely travel with my ipad, so it does it's job in the house. I do like how it makes the iPad easier to hold and fits snuggly. I recommend this product to those who are careful and rarely dip drop things. However if you are clumsy you might want something a lot more heavy duty than this.

Fits great on new iPad
Fits perfectly and snuggly on my new third-gen iPad. Combined with the apple smart cover it offers good protection without adding much bulk or weight to the iPad. This is a thin plastic and won't protect against something catastrophic (like a long drop) -- for that you'll want an actual padded case, but this will protect against scratches and bumps and I highly recommend it if you want something in conjunction with the Apple Smart Cover.

Good but...
I really like this case with the exception of 2 things, first the logo on the back annoys me but I can get over that. What really bothers me is that the bottom edge, you know the part that will be resting against you hand or body, has a sharp edge on it. It's not rounded off like every other edge on it. Other than that that though the case isn't even noticeable.
