Just got this delivered today and was so excited to give it a try. Boy what a disappointment! It does charge, but does not transmit ANY audio. When both the charger and audio ports are plugged in, there is a bunch of static. When just the audio port is plugged in, there is no sound, even with my phone and stereo turned up all the way! Then I use the dongle adapter that came with my phone and the audio is perfect. It appears I have been scammed. I even read through all the reviews again since there are so many positive ones and noticed many duplicate reviews, so I believe most to be fake. This will be an Amazon Verified purchase, thus a real review. And it's going straight back to Amazon. Love the concept, will keep looking for something that works.

The only reason these connectors get a 2-star rating is because they worked for a week. I bought 2 of them, and both stopped working or the plug broke off and got stuck in my phone. Not a fan. It's a great concept, just wished it worked better.

I tested it and put it in my overnight bag for business travel. Worked fine. Then, a month later I went on a trip, and found out it only works for a minute then it stops and I get the error message that it's not an apple supported device. I wanted to return it but was literally one day beyond my window to be able to do so.

!!!!!!AVOID!!!!! Absolute garbage. Did not work out of the box. Connection was loose and the sound was missing out of one ear. My buddy bought one as well and his did not work at all. When reaching out to the seller, no response was ever received.

Works but it's weird... you'll see.

ORIGINAL REVIEW for 2 Stars: Charging part works fine for my 7+, the headphones part is 50/50. I have to leave my headphones plugged in only 2/3s of the way. All the way, sound only comes out of the right side. And even then, sometimes I'll get awful static-y feedback and random beeps, sort of like when a microphone is too close to a speaker. For how cheap it is, it's meh. I use mine at work while I'm on the computer, so when the feedback starts I just unplug and plug in again until it goes awayUPDATE to 1 Star on 03/31: Of course, it says the accessory is not supported today and now does not charge. Feedback sucks too. Do not buy

I bought this item so I could charge my phone and listen to music at the same time in my car. I was so excited to use it when it came, but when i plugged in my aux and my charger the song played for all of 5 seconds. Then I got a message that said "iPhone does no support this accessory" and the music stopped playing. No matter how many times I tried I encountered this error every time. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY.
