I have been using the old version (with an index card taped to it) and that was fine. This new version is better! The tapered edge lets me fold the foundation paper more quickly and accurately. Look at the youtube video on how to use it! I'll be ordering the 12" one as well.

This is one of the very best tools I own for paper piecing. It keeps the work in line for a perfect cut to make the perfect points in a Née York beauty quilt for sure. I lost mine when I carried it with me to many classes. Could not live without it!
