A great stand. Super portable. Has serious great height adjustments which help in unusual ways...
I wasn't certain about this stand or type type of stand. But I found I was getting a sore neck from scrunching down to look at a laptop on occasion. i wanted something that would lift it up to a more natural viewing angle.I also often use an external USB keyboard with a laptop. I just like having the same feel to a keyboard wether at home or on the road. I have a small 13" 2-in-1 laptop where rather than just opening it will flip around and basically become a tablet, albeit a thick one. I hadn't thought about that when I bought this I just wanted to raise the display. When I was extremely pleased when it occurred to me to flip the laptop around. I now have the laptop screen upright and facing me and keyboard portion upside-down and with the keys down towards the bars and slanting away. This brought the display up even further in height, closer to me when I use my USB keyboard, and made it even easier to use.I worried that this would be tippy or unstable in some way. I haven't experienced anything even close to a problem. It is easy to extend the legs. There are markings on the tubes of the legs that make it easy to get to the same general position and then it is just stable and solid. I admit to still trying to be careful, but I am just not worried about it.For the price this was a fantastic buy. I will get another if anything should happen to this one.

Quality product.
Well made and very effective. I use it with a Macbook Air and can't be more pleased. I had a herniated disc in my neck because of hunching over. This helps a lot and it folds very slim.Update: I take it with me as I travel because it folds flat (4 countries so far), and it has held up beautifully. Note that most people will not adjust the stand beyond it's standard position. But it can be adjusted and some people are right that there are no gradient marks to make that effortless. But it is still easy to do.

The stand does a good job but I had to take off stars because when I received mine it had some scratches and clear signs of previous use. Secondly, while it is great for now, as I am using my lightweight laptop, I can't see this being used for heavier laptops as it feels unstable.

Good, light, _and_ cheap.
+ using this with my 17" MSI Ghost G60 Pro, which is big for a laptop, so I don't think it'll have trouble with pretty much any laptop.+ After using my laptop normally for days this was a huge relief for my neck.+ I have it set at a pretty high angle and it still feels sturdy and balanced, though it could conceivably be tipped over backwards by an excited cat or something.+ It folds quickly too; I plan to chuck it in my backpack when I carry my laptop between work and home.+- the joints are plastic and might not last forever. [UPDATE reduced to 4 stars: after a few weeks the joints have loosened up a bit and I have to be a little bit careful with it; if I push it sideways too much it sometimes collapses]- Only real downside of using this: now the keyboard + touchpad are tipped up at a steep angle - not impossible to use, but I'll be hooking up some external ones.- [update: the black rubbery pads on the back left marks on my counter but they wipe off easily. Now I just have the feet rotated so that the rubbery parts are not down]

Not for everyone.
The lowest setting puts the back side of the laptop up to about a 25 degree angle and then adjust to a greater angle from there. I really only wanted it up about maybe 10 degrees at the most for comfort and to allow more air circulation to keep the laptop running cool. The lowest angle it way too much for me, but at least the laptop is running cool.

Functional & Light-Weight, Easy to Carry.
This arrived in a large envelope. It was so light, I thought it was a mis-shipment. But nope, it folds up small and is super-light. Perfect for the road warrior. In addition to this stand, I travel with three more items to complete the road warrior kit:1. Small Keyboard, Logitech K810. At 11" x 5" x 3/4", it's small enough to throw in the backpack or purse. Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 for PCs, Tablets, Smartphones - Black 2. Cover for the keyboard. You can turn it off, but the cover protects the keys long term, and has a pouch for the mouse. Cosmos ® Black Color Neoprene Sleeve Carrying Protection Case Cover Bag for the Logitech K810 Logitech K811 Bluetooth Keyboard 3. Bluetooth mouse, Logitech M557. I've tried all kinds of fancy & expensive mice, and have settled on this $20 beauty. Absolute perfection.https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Bluetooth-Windows-Tablets-910-003971/dp/B00JUHDYSO/ref=pd_sim_147_7?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00JUHDYSO&pd_rd_r=3PBME3C277K8M5X78GN7&pd_rd_w=mWtjS&pd_rd_wg=GWWyD&psc=1&refRID=3PBME3C277K8M5X78GN7Enjoy!

where have you been all my life, oh Nextation Laptop Stand?
I don't know how I've survived as an 8 hour per day laptop user for 5 years before finding this -- oh wait, yes I do -- with PAIN and BAD POSTURE.This is such a simple, inexpensive, easy to pack solution that it just lives in my backpack and comes with me wherever my computer does. This thing more than doubles the height of my laptop screen, it's sturdy, and it takes two seconds to set up. I can't imagine NOT using it.

Two Stars
Laptop doesn't sit straight unless you bend the crap out of it. It's a good sturdy stand otherwise.
