Needleworker's Paradise
What can be said about this bag? Honestly, a needle worker’s paradise. There are tons of pockets, all in easy reach. The bag also stands on its own, allowing it to rest on the floor. The bag makes it easy to keep things organized, whether you’re working with cross stitch and embroidery, knitting, or crochet.Pros: There are lots of pockets scattered through the bag, both inside and on the front and back. The exterior pockets are clear, allowing for easy view of the contents. The back pocket is large enough to hold a book sized pattern, standing upright, while the front has closable zipper pockets, perfectly sized for scissors or other necessities. The interior also has a multitude of pockets, ranging from scissor sized to pen or crochet hook size. The bag has hinged legs of good quality metal. It stands by itself and has a strap to keep the legs from moving too far apart. The bag also has handles for carrying by hand and a strap for carrying over the shoulder. The materials that the bag are made out of are good quality: canvas, clear vinyl, nylon straps, and metal legs. Although time will tell, it feels like a bag that will last for a long time.Cons: Because of the size of the bottom of the bag vs. the size of the legs, the bag can occasionally be difficult to get to stand up. However, once it’s up, it’s quite sturdy. The bag doesn’t have anything to keep it closed, which makes traveling with the bag a bit of an issue.Overall, a highly recommended item.

So Practical
I like this bag very much. I purchased two of them, one- black and one white. The black one is now crammed with my crochet patterns, accessories and various notions. Everything is in one place and I don't have to rummage through shopping bags to find things that are not frequently used. I can keep my actual WIPs - works in progress, in separate bags with just what I need to work on them.I am currently using the white one for the granny square afghan that I am making... it holds quite a bit and my yarns of various colors are now altogether in one place. I hope the white canvas stays clean.I love the clear zippered outside pockets, one large and two medium. As for the numerous inside pockets...so far I haven't used them, as they are narrow, and aside from knitting needles or perhaps Tunisian crochet hooks, they aren't much use for crochet hooks. Crochet hook drop way down inside and are difficult to retrieve. The three inside cloth pockets are not see through and if you put smaller things in them, they would be impossible to see and you would have to remember what you put into each pocket. It is easy to carry around or just leave it next to your working area.

Nice
I like the bag. It's well made and sturdy. I like the netted pouches on one side, though I wish they were different sizes (e.g., LMS) I don't use the knitting needle pockets on the opposite side and wish that there was more flexibility to the pockets so that they could be used for some other tools. The bag itself is roomy and more than adequate to accommodate a fairly large project (like an afghan) as well as mats. The wire frame offers sturdiness and some protection for the rest of the bag.One of the panels has a large, sturdy, clear pocket for your patterns and thinner books/booklets.The one thing I dislike is that the bag cannot be closed while on the floor, because the fasteners that hold the straps on slide down between the sides of the metal frame, which prevents the top from closing. Consequently you have to lift the bag by the strap in order to close the top. Also, the top of the bag has no closing fastener. I'm using a hook and loop strap to bind the top, but it's not a great solution.Overall, it's a nice craft bag, especially for crocheters/knitters.

A stylish way to organize
I have wanted this bag for quite awhile, but the price always put me off. However, when my husband was searching for an anniversary gift, I picked this. I am thrilled! The large assortment of different sized pockets make organizing a snap. There are needle pockets on one side of the inside, mesh pockets on the opposite inside for notions, cell phone, or an mp3 player if you knit and listen to books on tape. There is a large center cavity, that even with all the pockets filled still allowed me sufficient room to fit 6-8 normal size bulky weight skeins. The outside has two wide see through zipper pockets extending the width of one side and stacked above one another. The other outside of the bag has one open see through pocket that can be used for patterns or a book and is as large as the side. The strap is sturdy, the frame is a medal wire about two hangers thick (but not flexible) and there is a support strap at the bottom to keep the frame from opening too wide. There are openings for your hands that allow for easy carrying if you don't like straps. The fabric is black canvas and the interior reminds me of white muslin or cotton. I am so pleased with how this bag looks and how much it holds.

Well Made Container!
I've been wanting to get this bag for quite some time but the high price kept putting me off! I have lots of types of knit and crochet bags but this one sits flatly on the floor and is very well made (hence the price), doesn't tip over nor does it make deep marks in the carpeting. I really like the fact that I don't have to keep opening and closing it so all of my projects just sit at the ready. The best thing about this is that it holds quite a bit of yarn (e.g. I put in about 9 skeins of Red Heart Super Savers which fit comfortably) and all of the accessories I need for a given project, such as hooks, knitting needles, scissors, tape measures, etc. The side pockets are very handy for booklets, patterns, a notepad or two. I would highly recommend this bag if you've been thinking about it....you'll love it.UPDATE: One thing I forgot to mention in my original review was that if you have pets, be sure to think this purchase over because our kitties love to dig into the open bag and pull out my yarn and oh what a mess they can make with it.
