I'm real pleased with the look of this and how well it does trap mud and dirt to keep it from being tracked into the house. I have now had by my front door for over a year. I shake it out good and wash it once or twice a month and it is holding up nicely and catches the dirt and mud. I am so glad I bought this, it was worth the money for the time it saves me not having to clean up tracked in mud and dirt.

If only it looked better, it would get 5 stars. However, it does the job, grabs the water and dirt from my puppy who goes outdoors to potty. I think they could work on less industrial looking colors such as a nice even taupe (instead of the brown/white combination or charcoal, both of which I have). Great price point, love that it is machine washable. Recommend.

The mud Trap is an excellent rug to keep your floors clean. It is so easy to vacuum and it shows very little wear. Excellent product!

While it does really gets the dirt and mud off your shoes. It is not very durable. Mine is less than four months old and it is coming apart,splitting right down the middle. The only thing I have done besides wipe my feet on it is to shake it out to clean it once a month or so. I am very disappointed.

Very disappointed in these rugs. After following directions for initial wash and dry, all the edges curl up and make it impossible for door to open over them. I have bought similar rugs in the past from Costco and Bed, Bath & Beyond, and I expected these to be comparable. But they are NOT. I can't speak for their absorbancy, since they are unusable to me. There is no weight or substance to hold the edges down.

I thought this was supposed to be some sort of super-absorbentrug that would stop people and dogs from tracking in water, mud, and debris. I washed and dried it according to directions before use, then tested with a walk around my wet yard and straight across the mat. It does hold onto many small leafy bits, but as you can see from the photo, it doesn't take all the mud or water off your shoes when you just walk over it. I'd say, it's just an ordinary doormat.

This rug is amazing! It truly collects the dirt. We have a lot of construction going on from the flood and the floor beyond the rug is clean unlike the other rugs that did not perform as well. I just ordered 2 more for the other 2 doors.

This is a pretty good mat, although it doesn't absorb quickly enough to dry your shoes while still standing on it. Make sure you wash it according to the directions before the first use!
