Have used this eye mask for about a week now and love it. I am a hospital doctor often working night shifts, and I fly a lot. I'm super light sensitive, so I need a quality sleep mask. Bought this after my cheap airplane mask lost its elasticity/fell apart and having tried a too heavy/ uncomfortable weighted eye mask that I later found out is bad for people like me who've had LASIK surgery because the weight can cause blurry vision.This sleep mask is a great alternative & exceeded my expectations. It fits well, is comfortable, adjustable, and totally blocks all the light. Although I was a little skeptical of the shape, I get such a deep, sound sleep with it.I'd just recommend adjusting the elastic band to fit your head size (not too tight) and adjusting the velcro detachable eye cups. After that, this mask outdid the blackout drapes in my bedroom that cost a few thousand dollars, which says a lot. Cannot recommend this mask enough, and I'm looking forward to taking it on my many future travels!

I have lashes long enough to hit my glasses sometimes. Makes finding eye masks hard because when I hit REM my lashes hit the mask and I wake up because it feels like something is tickling my eyelashes. It’s an unsettling feeling. These don’t do that. I do wish the cup was just 1/4-1/2 inch wider per eye, but they do work well and the mask dies not interfere with my oh so sexy (sarcastic) cPAP mask. I also like how the eye cup edges are not stiff. I paid for a kich more expensive brand of a product like this, but the cups were stuff and I would wake up with my temples or between my eyes aching intensely even when I left the band very loose, loose enough I could see light. This product is soft enough mi can lay on the edge of the cup, have it tight enough I don’t see light (yet loose enough to not be tight) and it is comfortable.Note: the first day I wire it I had ot very tight and woke up with uncomfortable puffy eyes, looked like I had been around a cat. (I’m very allergic to cats.) now I have it fairly loose, only tight enough to start to block light and no tighter and have had zero issues with the area around my eyes swelling. I have noticed a nice bonus. Wearing this makes me eyecream so much more effective. I apply a thin layer 20min before bed, so it’s fully absorbed by the time I put the mask on. I really like how much better my eye cream and eye serum work now.

New purchase but I am impressed so far. I have used mine for a nap at home and sleeping in the car while traveling.Pros:• It was very effective at blocking out virtually all light. Previously I have used the flexible fabric sleep masks, but they always seem to have gaps around the edges. This mask closes off the edges but doesn’t put pressure on my eyes, and I can even blink with the mask on.• I feel I have a big head and the adjustable strap still had a little room to expand further.Cons:• I find it a little difficult to put the mask back in the travel bag. It is a tight fit and the materials don’t slide over each other very well. Not a big deal, it just takes a couple extra seconds to put it away.

This product is billed as being great for side sleepers, and it may be great for folks that do not sleep on their sides, but it was very uncomfortable for me. Regrettably, I’m a side sleeper. I attempted two nights in this product and found that the thickness of the eye cups would press uncomfortably into the area around my eyes, and into the side of the area close to my eyes. Over the course of the night, that pressure became painful. It was a no go for me. Couldn’t get comfortable. They do block out light, though.

I decided to go with these because they were less expensive than the mantra sleep masks. Initially they looked to be really nice. The pink color was beautiful and it was very soft. The eye sockets/pads were very deep. But as soon as I went to adjust them it was clear that they are not a good quality. They are meant to be movable but whatever was used to stick the eye pad to the Velcro strip wasn’t very good and it was pulling away. It was only holding on by a very small piece. Afraid that it was going to come apart completely I didn’t move that one. Instead I moved the other one and when I put the mask on there was light coming through. Several of the stitches were too big and we’re letting light through.I ended up having to adjust the other eye socket as well, and this is where it pulled away completely and was unusable.

I ordered the Owlzzz because I was having a difficult time falling asleep. My husband likes to watch television in bed and although the sound doesn’t bother me the flickering lights from the television keeps me up. This product has really helped. Owlzzz blocks out 100% of the light. It is light weight, easily adjustable, and soft against my face. I can sleep on my back or on my side and it doesn’t shift out of place. This was well worth the price.

I bought this because I was planning to drive overnight to a vacation spot. In preparation for the drive, I needed to sleep during the day so I could stay awake all night. This mask provided absolute darkness and I was able to sleep 4-5 hours during the day out of my regular routine. This was game changing because without a sleep mask I would have been lucky to sleep at all. It was comfortable and dark and I wore it again when we arrived so I could catch up on sleep again. A quality product that will change your life.

If you are interested in the Manta mask, but don't have the $35 for the basic Manta, this is an excellent alternative, although it isn't 100% blackout (probably closer to 96-98%), if you don't absolutely require 100%, this is almost as good and about $10 cheaper. It's a good segue to the Manta.
