Initially very cautious and skeptical, I examined it thoroughly - seems to be made in exactly the same ways as proper harnesses. Finally tried it on indoor walls and then on tree jobs, and it is legit. Your LOLER inspector will raise an eyebrow, but technically it all checks out, so as a backup harness, this does the job. It isn't as comfy as the big brands of course. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent harness for basic rope access work *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 February 2025* Needed to clear a steep slope at the bottom of the garden of an increasing number of brambles before they became impenetrable. However given the angle I decided I needed to work safely secured to a rope using the abseiling skills I was taught in my youth. So obviously a harness was needed, but I didn't want to get to carried away with cost, so I decided to try this given others positive reviews. Now I've had chance to use it I'm pleased with the purchase, as others have said its well made for a budget brand, and I've found it easy to adjust/fit, along with being comfortable to wear for a safety harness. It also carries a label suggesting it meets European Standards, though obviously its easy to attach such a label.Overall I'm happy to recommend it for similar work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bit uncomfortable but overall a good piece of kit *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 August 2025* Quality looks good and seems well made. I've only used it once but it easily supported my weight. I like the loops on the hips which I use for hanging my pruning saw and chainsaw clip. One gripe I have is that it's a bit too snug around the "important area" when fitted properly, but it's a small price to pay for safety. ## Frequently Bought Together - SOB Climbing Harness Safety Harness Half Body Safety Belt Adjustable Outdoor Mountain Climbing Belt for Rock Climbing Tree Climbing Fire Rescue Expanding Training Rappelling, CE Certified - RIGINADO Carabiner Climbing Equipment, UIAA Certified 25KN Auto Locking Climbing Clips for Hammocks, Swing, Locking Dog Lead and Harness, Camping, Hiking & Utility - PETZL Grigri 2 Belay Adult --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/390730078-half-body-climbing-harness](https://www.desertcart.be/products/390730078-half-body-climbing-harness) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
