This is a great concept. I am grateful that there is an alternative to the traditional chalk. We are an organic,vegan family and appreciate the availability of these types of products. The kids love it. It does make a bit of a mess, but worth it for us

I love this sidewalk chalk! I have an almost 2 yr old that still puts things in her mouth. With this chalk, I can let her draw outside without helicopter parenting her, and to me, that's worth the extra cost! They do break into smaller pieces, but that makes it easier for the kids to hold. I have repurchased this item twice and will again.

Baby got accustomed to eating chalk somewhere along the way, and, even though only the yellow piece actually functions as chalk, I'm much relieved we can avoid arguments and feed him the chalk instead of waging temper tantrums about how he shouldn't be eating chalk. It's a great baby-treat, but, not so great as actual chalk.

Most sidewalk chalk works on chalk boards. This chalk was hard as a rock scratched chalkboard I needed organic safe chalk for playroom not outdoors so I tossed it :/

these are great, except that they smell really good and my one year wants to eat them. They also are really only good for sidewalks or cement. They are very rough on chalkboards and not very bright.

While I'm not testing the fact that this chalk is edible, I've used it outside with our son. It is great quality and has held up for the times we have used it I'd recommend this to anyone.

My daughter likes to eat everything she puts in her hands so this was a good purchase. The colors are very nice too, showed up really good on the sidewalk.

We have had so much fun with this chalk! The colors are nice and bright, and the pieces have lasted for a long time.
