These are shorter than I expected and don't really provide much in terms of flexibility and airflow, but they get the job done. These are the same as any other seller pretty much, they all come from China and they are all very fragile. Be careful and don't bend them too much or you will break the pins. I have 5 installed for the past 2 months of 24/7 mining though and they are working fine. I would check around for the longer (10 inch) version of this since it gives much more flexibility on where you can place your cards for mining.

Cheap construction. 2 of mine fell apart within a few plug and unplugs of the molex.The molex pin is poorly secured. I am asking for a refund or replacement on 2 of them.

I wonder if I was sent a bad version or if I received one that represents the quality of all of these riser. It fell apart the moment I used. it.

Don't buy this what ever you do. I'm sorry, but 3 out of 6 of these cables shorted out within hours of using them. If it wanted for my mom busting in asking what that smells was(bad nose from being sick the past week) i would be crying in a corner right now. Unplugged the GPU's and pulled them out after turning the rig off. I didn't even get to try to overclock it. Thank god I didn't, would be busting out screaming FIRE!The short appears on the 3rd pin from the last one on the right on the 1x end to the mobo.Requested a Refund..

Did not work for my application. It was a project of mine that went awry ............. Not "Trove of Goods" fault!

Didn't work at all, and after some trying, it ultimately burnt up my video card. I ordered a better one from a different company and it is constructed very differently, with filter capacitors and more wires in the power connector. This adapter is garbage.

Purchased for a mining rig.They stopped working after a single week. The motherboard does not detect the cards and the cards do not draw power when they are connected through these risers.STAY AWAY

ordered two.... both burn at the pcie1x connector... waste of time and money. wish i could give them 0, negative stars... need i go on?
