This pole is not 14" long only with the double socket arm,the description is misleading as it looks like your buying the whole unit at 14" long, the pole + socket arm : (Ram Mount - 14" Long Extension Pole w/ 1" Diameter Ball Ends & Double Socket Arm) Very deceptive description.If you wanto to buy the 12.75" pole,have a look at the screenshot below,from Spourtstouring ltd and a lot cheaper at £18.99.

Sportouring are selling this item but you will not get the double end arm which fits on the end of the pole and without it,it is not 14" long.They also sell two other lengths of pole on there own which are much lower in price.Somebody needs to fix this as I'm not the only person to find out the hard way.

I purchased this to reposition my Drift camera on my motorcycle. Unfortunately it wasn't successful the camera became too shaky. However I did cut the tube down a lot and works a little better although still some movement, I will persevere to sort to out.

RAM are the best

does as advertised. the ends are fitted on so you can shorten the stem if needed. would recommend using PVC glue to hold the ends on once you have the right length. would buy again
