KiWAV Hoocap DSLR 55 mm Lens Cap Hood Shade 2in1 Hoocap Filter Thread Screw on Quick Open Close

I own another one of these for my 16mm pancake, and know they are fantastic design with a well-executed construction. So I ordered another one for my Sony / Zeiss 16-70 F4 E-Mount lens. Unfortunately, even though the filter thread is indeed 55mm (which is what this Hoocap is designed for), the actual lens barrel is too wide for it to work. After some digging, I found on Hoocap's website that states "The lens barrel diameter of more than 66mm is not applicable to this product". And... the SRL1670Z's barrel is 66.50 mm. Bummer.Since it is no fault of the lens cap/hood, and my other one with the same design worked flawlessly, I am giving it a 5-star rating. But if you intend to buy this for the Sony 16-70 F4 E-Mount, please note that it will not fit.
