Small, light, and weirdly powerful โ this thing is a DAWG
I bought the Sonicare 1100 because I wanted a basic electric toothbrush from a reputable brand without paying for Bluetooth, apps, multiple modes, or a bunch of features I donโt need. What surprised me most is how small and light it is โ and then you turn it on.This thing is ridiculously strong for its size. The first time I put it in my mouth I was honestly shocked by how much power it has. It feels like Philips somehow stuffed a tiny power tool into a toothbrush handle. If I could attach a carbide blade to it, Iโm pretty sure it could hang with my oscillating saw.Once you get used to the vibration, though, itโs excellent. You really donโt need to โbrushโ in the traditional sense. Just guide it slowly from tooth to tooth, use light pressure, and let the toothbrush do the work.Simple, lightweight, powerful, rechargeable, and around $20. I genuinely donโt know what more Iโd need from an electric toothbrush.5 stars. Absolute little dawg.

PHILIPS Sonicare 1100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush
If you're looking for an affordable way to try Sonicare without committing yourself to one of the pricier models, this is a fantastic place to start. When it was time to replace my aging electric toothbrush, glowing reviews convinced me to try Philips Sonicare. The affordable 1100 and Philipsโ strong reputation made it an easy choice. Now I understand the hype.My teeth feel exceptionally clean after brushing, and the sonic action feels powerful and thorough without being harsh on my teeth or gums. The brush is lightweight, comfortable, and refreshingly simple. I donโt need endless settingsโI just want an effective cleaning, and the 1100 delivers.I take dental care seriously and will invest in products that work. The 1100 has been such a strong introduction to Sonicare that Iโm now curious about its premium models.

A great buy!
I am very happy so far with this product. It does its job as it should. I donโt know how long it will last but compared to the price of other models, I can afford one more often. The toothbrush head is replaceable and functions as expected. Would buy again

Awesome toothbrush
Boy oh boy I've put off buying an electric toothbrush for so long. I wanted the one that combines the eater-pik and toothbrushing but it was pricey, causing me to put it on hold. When I ame across this one I liked the reviews, the cost (although it made me skeptical) but much to my surprise, it thoroughly passed my expectations. I have been battling with trying to get the film off of my teeth. I want them to stay as when you go to the dentist for are your teeth to be cleaned. But nothing was working. That's why I wanted the other type of toothbrush. I felt like with the flossing at the same time of brushing you couldn't go wrong. Well, within the first week, I could feel my teeth feel like when I went to the dentist. No film, I also noticed it appears that it doesn't allow any plaque to build up, another plus. I hardly ever give a review this long, but this one was truly worth it. I've had it now for maybe45 to 60 days. I am highly satisfied. I don't believe I'll ever go back to a regular toothbrush.

Simple, effective, and reliable sonic cleaning without the extra frills!
As an Amazon Vine Voice, I tested the PHILIPS Sonicare 1100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush over a two-week period, using it for twice-daily brushing routines to evaluate its cleaning power, battery life, and overall usability. If you want to step up from a manual toothbrush without paying for expensive, feature-heavy models you'll never use, this stripped-down sonic brush is a compelling option.ย Here is my honest breakdown of how it performs:โญ Cleaning Performance & PowerSonic Technology: Delivering solid vibration action, it drives fluid deep between teeth and along the gumline. It leaves your mouth feeling remarkably freshโway cleaner than any standard manual brush.ย Single-Mode Simplicity: It features just one cleaning speed and one button. While it lacks multiple intensity settings or fancy pulse cycles, it focuses entirely on doing the core job exceptionally well.ย Easy-Start Feature: If you are new to electric toothbrushes, it includes a built-in feature that gently ramps up the power gradually over your first 14 brushing sessions to prevent gum sensitivity.ย ๐ ๏ธ Design & UsabilitySlim & Lightweight: The handle has a sleek, ergonomic profile that feels comfortable and lightweight in the hand without taking up unnecessary counter space.ย Smart Timers: The integrated SmarTimer automatically shuts the brush off after the dentist-recommended 2 minutes, while the QuadPacer pulses every 30 seconds to signal when you should switch quadrants of your mouth.ย ๐ Battery Life & ChargingDependable Endurance: The internal rechargeable battery easily lasts up to 2 weeks (around 14 days) on a single charge under normal use.ย Convenient Indicator: A subtle battery level LED indicator alerts you when it's time to drop it back on its USB charging base.ย ๐ Minor Cons to ConsiderNo Pressure Sensor: Because this is a budget-friendly model, it lacks a pressure sensor warning light. If you have a heavy hand, you'll need to mind how hard you press manually.ย Basic Accessories: The kit keeps things minimal with just the handle, one brush head, and a USB charging stand (wall adapter block not always included).ย The VerdictThe PHILIPS Sonicare 1100 proves you donโt need to spend a fortune to get a dentist-clean mouth. It cuts out the complicated modes in favor of reliable timers, great battery life, and powerful sonic action. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a straightforward, high-value electric toothbrush!

Good value for the money
Enjoying my purchase. Great option for someone looking for a simple and easy to use (one button on/off) or quality budget option electric toothbrush from a reliable company. Has strong vibration so you can adjust with different head options for sensitivity and not have to press hard to get the results you want. Has a nice small clip on brush protector for travel. Feels solid and durable not cheaply made. I think itโs a good value for the money.

Great toothbrush for the price!
I have purchased 5 of these toothbrushes (for my family of 5). They work really well. Ever since I switched to this electric toothbrush, I haven't had any cavities. When we go on vacation, we take these toothbrushes and they can last on a single charge for 5+ days which is a HUGE bonus! The top comes with a cover which helps with travel. I also like that each toothbrush uses the same charger so if we did want to take a charger with us, we could just take one! The toothbrush isn't too bulky or heavy. I mainly chose this toothbrush for the great price but have been pleasantly surprised with how much we love it!

Quality of brushes has gone down over the years. Durability to failure was 10 years, now <2 years!
Quality of brushes has gone down over the years. Spending more for the Model 2100 or 4100 or other even more expensive ones DOES NOT IMPROVE DURABILITY.My last 4 (over a 7-year period) all dies between 15-24 months. Always for the same reason; the rubber seal over the on/off button gets a hole in it, water gets in, and it kills the toothbrush OR the seal remains intact but the cheap switch within breaks (usually by not clicking anymore).I have used Sonicare over 20-years. First and second toothbrushes lasted as long as I lived in those 2 houses, 10-years. Still for the buttons, and also for batteries that don't charge anymore. The newer batteries they put in them now seem better, charges last longer . . . but because of inferior quality materials in the on/off switch and seal of the newer brushes I cannot tell you if the batteries will keep charging for 10-years, or even 5-years.Overall I take off 2-stars on this model (and more expensive ones I've tried in the last 4-years to see if the include better switches - they don't)- all fail way too soon.Come on Phillips, improve the switches and seals, or go back to the old ones that were better!I still recommend Sonicare, way better than any other brand of "ultrasonic toothbrush" (most of those have simple vibrator motors inside, NOT ultrasonic transducers). You get a REAL ultrasonic transducer inside Sonicare brushes, and that makes all the difference in how clean your teeth get.Just don't waste your money on the more expensive models that have "features" nobody needs or can remember how to activate from just one button; they also fail just as fast for the power button or seal.

The best value for money electric toothbruah
This thing is no frills with a no frills price. However, that makes it's the perfect brush. No timer, warnings for too much pressure, etc. Just a standard brush that uses the Philips toothbrush heads that I like. If you want lots of settings, you'll want to look at a higher end model. It holds a charge for about 2 weeks of brushing, and this is true still 8 months later. The charger does not include a wall outlet plug, instead ending with a USB end. You'll want to buy a USB wall outlet plug for it or borrow one from your phone charger.I've owned a lot of power toothbrushes over the years, and this is the one I've settled on enjoying the most. Good price and does what I want.

Good Buy
I've previously used earlier Philips Sonic models until they failed after fairly good service lives. They were so old they used NiMH rather than lithium power cells and they were bulky and heavy. This is the best Philips model that I have used so far. I think that it is the lowest cost one in the current range. The cleaning action is vigorous and efficient with no unnecessary features. A green LED stays on or flashes for a short period after each use to show when it needs charging. However, unless you are living in a caravan or on the road, I can't see the advantage of the new USB powered charging bases. These require the use of a spare phone type charger plugged into a 3 pin mains socket which is not usually available in bathrooms. The old models came with a simple inductive charging base that plugs into a 2 pin isolated 120/230 VAC bathroom shaving socket or a 3 pin mains plug adapter. Luckily, I kept one of my old AC powered charging bases and find that it is compatible with this new toothbrush.
