This is so inconvenient. First of all, the switch to the Celsius/Fahrenheit portion is located under the battery, and it's so small I needed a Bobby pin to switch it. Then there's the actual screen on th handle, it overheated and was completely not visible at around 200 degrees Fahrenheit. For this reason you have to hold it the entire time. Save yourself trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and get a thermometer that clips to the side.

My fudge comes out perfect now that i can see temp.

Cheap and defective
Unit shut off every time it was placed in hot liquid, temperature reads were slow. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.
