using this for my plants, not ckns or ducks.esp good for succulant house plants. also using it on several potted outdoor plants. helps with drainage, so soil doesn't get caked. small enough so roots can grow around them but also helps with air pockets in the soil (so I read from gardening sites...who knows 1st time trying ).

Our chickens have access to sand and dirt with lots of rocks so I thought they were fine but one got sour crop and this product came up as something to help prevent it. Once she was on the mend, we offered her some of this grit and she went crazy eating it. Then we offered it to the other girls and it was gone in a flash. They think it's a better treat than even meal worms. It's been a few months and no more problems with swollen or sour crop!

It is of good quality and great value for the size the bag is. My chickens loves it and i am gonna have to get some more Manna Pro Grits for my chickens.

chicken must have, I dont recommend i they free range bc they wont care for it much bt useful to start off with as chicks

While I can't ask the hens how they like it, they seem to gobble it up.
