TranquilEyes Eye Hydrating Goggles with Beads - Black

I live in the desert, and thus have to use a ceiling fan to stay cool even at night. This has a tendancy to dry out your eyes. It doesnt help that my wife says sometimes when I sleep I leave my eyes slightly cracked open. I read the other reviews about the strap breaking so I was very careful with that and report no problems there. However, on one side the circular piece of foam came off the plastic half way. Odly enough, this happened only after about a weeks worth of use and its gotten no worse since then. Theres just a tad bit of glue that keeps the foam and the plastic attached. I could have been unlucky with mine. I tried glueing it back on with gorilla glue, three times but it never took. Apparently rubber cement is a better adhesive to attach foam to plastic but i didnt want to keep adding different chemicals since obviously these go next to my eye. I ordered a different sleep mask which is 1 piece but has indentations for the eyes to give them room to open. We'll see how that goes. The good news is these did do the trick when they stayed on. About 30% of the time id wake to find them next to me or on the floor but when they do manage to stay on for the full night id wake up with no dry eye issues. But because they broke so quickly i have to give it 1 stat, mostly due to the high cost which is 4x as much as other masks. I was hoping the extra money for this one meant higher quality materials but i was wrong.

Seems like a solid eye mask made of good quality materials but I’m giving it only 3 stars because I found it to be extremely uncomfortable. Im sure it works well for those who can tolerate pressure on and around the eyes, but many dry eye sufferers, like me, have sensitive eyes. I wish I could return the mask, but I threw away the packaging and packing slip😔

This product, for it's cost, should not be anywhere near as flawed as it is. I've been using this for almost 6 months now and I can say with confidence that it is awful when it comes to staying on your face. I can count the number of times it's stayed put all night on the fingers of one hand. I will admit, on those rare days I felt greatly refreshed, but they're so few and far between I can't recommend this product. I still have to use ophthalmic gel along with these since they fall off so easily.There's also the gel packs, which are just a price booster at the expense of the consumer to pad the company's pockets. Pure garbage at an absurd price (look at the replacement packs just to see how much they're charging for them.FYI. If you search for this product online, outside of Amazon there are companies that sell it without the gel packs (which are worthless anyway) for around 35. The company doesn't offer these on Amazon because why would it? It's taking a nice cut selling worthless plastic bits on an already overpriced product.

It doesn't really stay on all that well BUT I love it and use it every night. I might sew the straps at the correct tightness as some have suggested but I've been too lazy and it works mostly fine as it is. If you want complete 100% black out, these are for you. Also, my eyes stay open a little when I sleep and gives me crazy bad dry eye, these put just a little pressure and seem to keep them closed.

It was helpful in keeping my right eye from drying out during the night. The first few nighty were comfortable but after that it started to irritate the skin around my eye. Some nights it came off while I was sleeping. It did help in keeping my eye that doesn't blink moist all night so I wasn't in pain in the morning.

This product is well worth using if you are waking up with a pink and gritty feeling eyes. My first experience with a problem turned out to be related to having a skin problem - roscesa, in which my eye dr. prescribed something. The next time I went back, it turned out I was sleeping without completely closing my eyes. These help moisturize (eye drops were not helping) the eyes since it is like sleeping in the dark and the moisture control keeps eyes from drying out. Drying out eyes is not a good thing.

It is good well made, as other comments mention straps are hard to use. I dont use the beads or sponge insert because they pressure my eyeballs and uncomfortable. Other than that no issues. It seals really well and devinitely helps my dry eyes, wake up less redness in my eyes.
