By 18 months, our g-daughter was a "speed demon" on hers. A 1-year-old would probably like sitting on the car or pushing it around, but his/her coordination to use legs and feet to propel it will come quickly. Just buy it!! **Q: What is the weight limit?** A: I really don't remember the number of pounds, but I think it was over 150#.
