I was hesitant. I watched YouTube videos on piercing your own nose. I found instructions online on how to use it. Basically, you put a dot on your nose where you want your piercing, then you slowly start to close it until you line up the stud with the dot on your nose and then quickly & gently , push it through until it stops! And you’re all done ! The plastic pieces fall away from the piercing stud and it’s in! Use a salt water mixture and a syringe to gently cleanse the inside of your nose piercing and the outside of your piercing. Be sure to only use sea salt! 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt and one cup of warm water. It has to be a non iodized salt!

I did a decent amount of research on usage and placement before ordering these and it helped a ton! The piercing post has a cone shaped spear on the end. Which I was initially nervous of it causing irritation to the inside of my nostrils. But I’ve had the piercing in for a few months now, while it’s healing, and it hasn’t bothered me at all. I also watched a video on how to take the posts out after the piercing has healed, and you just pull them right out. I did get a bit of an irritation bump from snagging it on a jacket one night. But I also looked into that and cleaned it regularly and the bump quickly went away. I wasn’t able to find H2Ocean at any of my local stores, so I bought a generic infant nasal spray in a small aerosol can at Walmart for under $1 and it has worked great for keeping the piercing clean! I pierced my nose when I was seventeen with a needle (back in the '80s). So, this was heaven compared to that. You have to apply a fair amount of pressure to get it through. I also iced my nose for about five minutes beforehand to cut down on the pain. Make sure you use the alcohol swabs and wear some latex gloves. I've also been cleaning mine with sterile salt water twice a day, and it's healing nicely! The stud is sharp, but honestly, I've had no problems with it. I'll be switching it out to a hoop to match my other one in a couple of weeks. If you're nervous, make sure you watch some videos on Youtube. Plenty of people have used these. I'm so glad I did this.

I bought these for me and my daughter to use together. Both of us have a big problem with needles and anxiety. And after reading reviews on other disposable nose piercing guns I was really REALLY worried that, like other reviews have said that the nose ring would only go half way through n get stuck or some other problem would come up. But, I had a friend come over and these were so easy to use, and no problems came up! The guns worked perfectly! The nose rings are super cute and neither of us could be happier! I definitely recommend this to others!! So easy so simple so cute so worth it!!!

Super easy to use, and did not hurt at all! Pricey is amazing! I already had one nose piercing before I bought these and I added two more to my nose 😄 I made sure to mark it and I closed it a little bit to where the needle was close to my skin breathed in and then I pushed while breathing out! I also did two in my friend and had her do the same thing and she is a big cry baby when it comes to pain and she said it did not hurt at all!!!
