Synergy Collection Wardrobe Tube Support, 1 Pair for 1 5/16" Diameter Closet Rod (Zinc, Polished Chrome)

These metal closet tube supports fits into our 25 year old California Closet perfectly. The pegs on the back align precisely with the holes that California Closet pre-drilled into the closet boards. They exactly fit the 1 5/16" diameter closet rod that California Closets used, complete with the thin plastic tubing that the company installed on the rod to cut down on friction from hangers.The tube supports that came from California Closet originally were made of plastic, and eventually gave way under the weight of heavy clothing. With these metal supports, I don't think that's ever going to happen. Our system is white and these supports are chrome, but that doesn't bother us because it's inside the closet and there is not much visible once you put in the rod and re-hang the clothes. There is a metal white set out there, but we didn't want to wait because delivery was longer and we had to get the clothes off the floor of the closet. The pins broke Sunday evening, I ordered it on Prime, and they were delivered Tuesday morning, so we're happy. Probably most people order these under similar circumstances; if the color doesn't work for you, you can always pick up a small can of glossy spray paint.

Great quality, exactly what I was looking for. No need for drills or screws. It fits the inserts of the standard closet. Easy install.

I needed to add an additional hanging bar to my California Closets system but didn't want to get robbed by them for such simple parts. These fit fine and cost me a fraction of what the original cost me.
