Easy to fill. My kitties love it.

This is small, smaller than I thought. It only hold 1 ½ cups I thought about using it for my Chihuahua but I would be constantly filling it the way she drinks. I chose instead to give it to my cat. Being small helped in the location we put it so it was out of the way. It is easy to fill and very easy to pick up and clean. The red or blue basin is a light weight plastic so I would not recommend putting a larger bottle to hold more water. I would fear it would tip over from the weight.As for the claim that your pets like the color very much and it will increase their happy drinking…lol.The price at this time (10) is very high compared to larger better quality half gallon waterer that you can get on Amazon going for the same price but I will not mark off a star for the price since that changes.
